Abstract
Penggunaan Virtual Reality sebagai sarana pembelajaran merupakan solusi efektif karena pada situasi pandemi dapat dilakukan dari jarak jauh serta untuk biaya lebih terjangkau, dikarenakan biaya untuk pembuatan serta perawatan dari Bridge Simulator yang sangat mahal. Pada penelitian ini akan memodelkan 3D Bridge Simulator menggunakan Virtual Reality sebagai sarana edukasi bagi taruna. Model 3D yang dilakukan mencakup area lingkungan pelabuhan Soekarno Hatta Makassar beserta komponen – komponen yang ada di anjungan kapal menggunakan Blender. Model 3D yang sudah dibuat akan di aplikasikan ke Virtual Reality menggunakan Unity 3D. Aplikasi Virtual Reality ini akan disimulasikan oleh taruna dan dilakukan validasi menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil simulasi dan validasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat telah sesuai dan memenuhi fungsi seperti simulasi langsung pada Bridge Simulator serta dapat membantu pembelajaran taruna.

Virtual Reality as a learning tool is an effective solution because, in a pandemic situation, it can be done remotely and at a more affordable cost. After all, the costs for the manufacture and maintenance of the Bridge Simulator are prohibitive. In this study, we will model 3D Bridge Simulator using Virtual Reality as an educational tool for cadets. The 3D model covers the Soekarno Hatta Makassar port environment area and the components on the ship's bridge using Blender. The 3D model that has been created will be applied to Virtual Reality using Unity 3D. This Virtual Reality application will be simulated by cadets and validated using a questionnaire. The simulation and validation results show that the application is appropriate, fulfills functions such as direct stimulation on the Bridge Simulator, and can help cadets learn.
