Abstract
Penggunaan bahan bakar fossil masih menjadi penunjang utama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar masyarakat Indonesia sehari-hari. Maka dari itu diperlukan solusi bahan bakar alternatif agar tidak terlalu bergantung dengan bahan bakar fossil yang tidak tergantikan. Beberapa alternatif dapat dipilih seperti memakai bahan bakar ganda LPG-Diesel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbandingan performa mesin antara mesin diesel yang hanya menggunakan bahan bakar solar dan mesin diesel dengan bahan bakar ganda LPG-diesel yang menggunakan ecu adaptif dual fuel lpg-diesel. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan mesin Yanmar TF 85 MH pada putaran mesin 1000 rpm, 1300 rpm, 1600 rpm, 1900 rpm, 2100 rpm dengan variasi beban 1000 watt, 1500 watt, 2000 watt, 2500 watt, 3000 watt. Dengan variasi bukaan injector 3 m/s, 4 m/s, 5 m/s, 6 m/s, 7 m/s. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada range putaran mesin 1000-1600 rpm menggunakan bukaan injector 4 m/s. Pada range putaran mesin 1600-2100 rpm menggunakan bukaan injector 6 m/s. Bukaan injector diatur oleh Elektronik Control Unit yang berbasis Arduino. Dengan memakai ECU yang adaptif terhadap putaran mesin daya yang dihasilkan dapat meningkat 4% dibandingkan dengan hanya memakai bahan bakar B30 serta meningkatkan torsi sebesar 26% dibandingkan hanya memakai bahan bakar B30. Dengan pemakaian bahan bakar ganda berbasi ECU adaptif dapat melakukan penghematan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar Rp. 6.009,43 / hari.

The use of fossil fuels is still the main support in meeting the daily fuel needs of the Indonesian people. Therefore, alternative fuel solutions are needed so that they are not too dependent on non-replaceable fossil fuels. Several alternatives can be chosen, such as using LPG-Diesel dual fuel. This study aims to compare engine performance between a diesel engine that uses only diesel fuel and a diesel engine with dual fuel LPG-diesel that uses an adaptive ecu dual fuel LPG-diesel. The study was conducted using a Yanmar TF 85 MH engine at engine speed of 1000 rpm, 1300 rpm, 1600 rpm, 1900 rpm, 2100 rpm with a load variation of 1000 watts, 1500 watts, 2000 watts, 2500 watts, 3000 watts. With variations in injector openings 3 m/s, 4 m/s, 5 m/s, 6 m/s, 7 m/s. Based on the results of research on the engine speed range of 1000-1600 rpm using an injector opening of 4 m/s. In the engine speed range of 1600-2100 rpm, the injector opening is 6 m/s. The injector opening is regulated by the Arduino-based Electronic Control Unit. By using an ECU that is adaptive to engine speed, the power generated can increase by 4% compared to using only B30 fuel and increase torque by 26% compared to using only B30 fuel. With the use of dual fuel based on adaptive ECU can save fuel consumption of Rp. 6,009.43/day.
