Abstract
Kapal pengangkut ikan modern menggunakan sistem refrigasi untuk menyimpan ikan dimana dengan adanya sistem ini mutu ikan bisa dijaga hingga lebih lama disesuaikan dengan lama pelayaran dari kapal tersebut, sistem refrigasi kompresi uap merupakan salah satu jenis sistem refrigasi yang digunakan diatas kapal. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi sistem refrigasi kompresi uap bisa dikembangkan menjadi sistem refrigasi Multi-storage dimana sistem refrigasi ini merupakan sistem pendingin tidak langsung dengan menggunakan R134a sebagai refrigerant utama dan udara sebagai refrigerant kedua yang dialirkan ke setiap palkah ikan. Tujuan utama dari sistem refrigasi ini untuk memberikan suhu pendinginan segar dan beku dengan memberikan variable suhu 00C sampai -50C pada palkah ikan, perubahan suhu tersebut bisa terjadi karena adanya perubahan laju alir refrigerant pada sistem refrigasi karena adanya Thermostatic Expansion Valve. Setelah melalui perhitungan yang sudah dilakukan didapatkan total beban pendingin sebesar 39,759 kW, sehingga dapat dilakukan pemilihan komponen, kemudian dilakukan perancangan sistem refrigasi dan simulasi sistem menggunakan aplikasi Aspen Hysys. Dari perancangan sistem refrigasi multi-storage ini terjadi adanya penambahan daya sebesar 46,846 kW dan didapatkan nilai efisiensi sebesar 77,82% untuk sistem refrigasi ini.

Modern fish carriers use a refrigeration system to store fish where with this system the quality of fish can be maintained for a longer time adjusted to the length of the ship's voyage, the vapor compression refrigeration system is one type of refrigeration system used on board. With the development of vapor compression refrigeration system technology, it can be developed into a Multi-storage refrigeration system where this refrigeration system is an indirect cooling system using R134a as the main refrigerant and air as the second refrigerant which is supplied to each fish hatch. The main purpose of this refrigeration system is to provide fresh and frozen cooling temperatures by providing a variable temperature of 00C to -50C in the fish hatch, this temperature change can occur due to changes in the refrigerant flow rate in the refrigeration system due to the Thermostatic Expansion Valve. After going through the calculations that have been done, the total cooling load is 39.759 kW, so that component selection can be made, then the refrigeration system design and system simulation are carried out using the Aspen Hysys application. From the design of this multi-storage refrigeration system, there is an additional power of 46,846 kW and an efficiency value of 77,82% is obtained for this refrigeration system.
