Abstract

Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya is one of the largest campuses in Indonesia which has also used RFID to access entrances and exits in the ITS environment, as a way to increase security in the campus area. However, there are several problems that occurred after the gate system was implemented at ITS, namely, the absence of security for card security so that data can be copied and used by others, the ITS RFID Gate Server which has several security vulnerabilities and the occurrence of long vehicle queues on the RFID Gate system. HIS. This research began in the planning stage, then the data collection stage in the form of primary and secondary data, continued with analysis and discussion and the documentation stage. The analysis and discussion phase is carried out by analyzing the queuing system for the ITS RFID Gate, then providing recommendations for the queuing system at the ITS RFID Gate. For security analysis, a security analysis was carried out on the access card and ITS RFID Gate server system. Then evaluate the findings of security vulnerabilities using the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS). Then a security recommendation is given to the ITS RFID Gate system. Based on the research that has been carried out, the number of RFID Gate that corresponds to the arrival rate of existing two-wheeled vehicles, so there will be no long queues is 2 RFID Gate. The security vulnerabilities found in the ITS RFID Gate System are 6. With 2 critical level vulnerabilities, 1 high level vulnerability, 3 medium level vulnerabilities.
