Abstract
Tahun 2021, Indonesia mencatat terjadi gempa sebanyak 10.570 kali berdasarkan catatan BMKG.

In 2021, Indonesia recorded 10,570 earthquakes based on BMKG records. Often the structure of the building is not adapted to the geographical conditions that result in damage during an earthquake. The damage was triggered by the absence of an earthquake simulator that was used to test the resilience of the building structure. So it is necessary to have an earthquake simulator in testing the resilience of the structure, one of the tools is EST. EST is an earthquake simulator that is able to move as in its original form. This tool consists of 2 tables that represent the movement of the X and Y axes. Where this tool can be run by entering the coordinates of the X and Y axes and the speed adjusted to the stepper motor displacement step which is adjusted to 5000 steps. The system is run by stepper motors and belt actuators controlled by Teensy. Research shows that the EST works simultaneously on the X and Y axes with varying speed to form a movement according to the input. The results of the EST movement are then compared with the input and output results to determine the performance results. The test results stated that it was carried out 11 times in 4 countries with each test containing 3503 coordinate point data, the minimum error was 0% and the largest error was 41% with an average error of 5%.
