Abstract

Anoa (Bubalus sp.) merupakan salah satu satwa endemik khas Pulau Sulawesi yang dilindungi karena terancam kepunahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemungkinan habitat persebaran anoa berdasarkan parameter lingkungan dengan memperhatikan pengaruh gangguan manusia. Secara khusus, hal ini akan membantu upaya konservasi in-situ maupun ex-situ hewan endemik anoa terhadap gangguan manusia yang ada. Dalam konteks ini, gangguan manusia terhadap anoa yakni berupa aktivitas di area permukiman dan jalan. Untuk menguji hipotesa bahwa terdapat habitat anoa yang cocok selain daerah konservasinya, sebuah pendekatan maximum entropy dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan parameter lingkungan dilengkapi lokasi koordinat perjumpaan spesies sehingga didapatkan lokasi yang mirip dengan titik lokasi perjumpaan satwa. Data lingkungan yang digunakan berupa ketinggian, suhu, penggunaan lahan, jarak perairan, permukiman dan jaringan jalan. Hasil prediksi dilakukan analisis menggunakan kurva Receiver Operating Character (ROC) dan Area Under the Curve (AUC). Pada case 1 berdasarkan hasil dari input training data menggunakan 31 poin persebaran anoa dan pengaturan tes sampel acak sebesar 25% dihasilkan nilai AUC training data 0,782; serta AUC tes data 0,717 akurasi prediksi model tergolong tinggi. Sedangkan pada case 2 yang diolah menggunakan 98 poin dan pengaturan tes sampel acak sebesar 25% dihasilkan nilai AUC training data 0,885; serta AUC tes data 0,938 akurasi prediksi model tergolong excellent. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan data in-situ lokasi koordinat perjumpaan spesies mendukung prediksi pemodelan daerah habitat anoa. Parameter gangguan manusia cukup berpengaruh pada case 1 dengan prosentase variabel kontribusi permukiman sebesar 22%, namun untuk jaringan jalan 4,3% sehingga data ini menunjukkan bahwa habitat anoa kurang sensitif terhadap gangguan manusia berupa jaringan jalan. Sedangkan pada case 2 menunjukkan kedua parameter gangguan manusia menghasilkan prosentase variabel kontribusi yang sangat rendah. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa habitat anoa kurang sensitif terhadap gangguan manusia, baik permukiman maupun jaringan jalan.

Anoa (Bubalus sp.) is one of Sulawesi endemic species which is protected because it is threatened with extinction. This study aims to determine the possible habitat distribution of anoa based on environmental parameters considering the influence of human disturbance. It will help in-situ and ex-situ conservation of anoa endemic animals against existing human disturbances. Human disturbance to anoa is in the form of activities in settlements and transportation. To test the hypothesis that there is a suitable anoa habitat in addition to its conservation area, a maximum entropy approach is carried out by considering environmental parameters along with the coordinates of the species encounter location so that a location similar to the location of the animal encounter is obtained. Environmental data used in the form of elevation, temperature, land use, water, settlements, and transportation. In case 1with training data input using 31 points of anoa distribution and setting a random sample test of 25%, the AUC training data value was 0.782; and the AUC test data of 0.717, the prediction accuracy of the model is high. Whereas in case 2 which was processed using 98 points and setting a random sample test of 25%, the AUC training data value was 0.885; and the AUC test data of 0.938 the prediction accuracy of the model is classified as excellent. The parameter of human disturbance is quite influential in case 1 with the percentage of the variable contribution of settlements being 22%, but for the transportation is 4.3% so this data shows that the anoa habitat is less sensitive to human disturbances in the form of transportation. Meanwhile, in case 2, the two parameters of human disturbance produce a very low percentage of the contribution variable. This indicates that the anoa habitat is less sensitive to human disturbances, both settlements and transportation
