Abstract
Seiring berjalannya waktu, terdapat cukup banyak investor yang berhasil dalam menjalankan bisnis waralaba, namun banyak juga diantaranya yang gagal dengan perbedaan tingkat presentase kegagalan dari keduanya yang sangat mencolok yaitu sebesar 50-60% untuk waralaba lokal dan hanya 2-3% untuk waralaba asing. Di samping itu, pembelian bisnis waralaba memerlukan investasi biaya yang relatif besar. Selain lokasi toko, penerima waralaba harus membayar franchisee fee, royalti, dan kontribusi promosi kepada pewaralaba serta memodifikasi kontrak dari waktu ke waktu. Meskipun memiliki resiko gagal yang relatif rendah, tetap diperlukan kecermatan dan kehati-hatian dalam memilih pewaralaba dan jenis usahanya dalam mensukseskan bisnis waralaba ini. Bergerak dari permasalahan di atas, penulis menggagaskan sebuah pengembangan aplikasi yang dapat mempermudah para penerima waralaba dalam melakukan transaksi pembelian / berinvestasi pada suatu bisnis waralaba. Aplikasi ini menerapkan sistem Equity crowdfunding yang memiliki konsep kurang lebih sama seperti saham, dimana uang yang disetorkan akan menjadi ekuitas / bagian kepemilikan atas perusahaan dengan imbalan dividen sehingga penerima waralaba dapat berinvestasi dengan harga yang relatif murah. Pada pengembangan aplikasi ini, penulis menggunakan kerangka kerja berbasis Bahasa pemrograman Javascript yaitu MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), dan menerapkan prinsip Clean Architecture yang memiliki banyak manfaat bagi perangkat lunak dan juga tim pengembang, yaitu dengan dibagi menjadi beberapa layer yang membuat code tersebut lebih independent, mudah dibaca, mudah untuk dimodifikasi/diperbaharui, dan mudah diuji.

Over time, there were quite a number of investors who succeeded in running a franchise business, but many of them failed with a very striking difference in the percentage of failure rates, by 50-60% for local franchises and only 2-3% for foreign franchises. Besides that, the purchase of a franchise business requires a relatively large investment cost. In addition to store locations, franchisees must also pay franchisee fees, royalties, and promotional contributions to franchisees and modify the contract from time to time. Even though it has a relatively low risk of failure, it is still necessary to be careful in choosing a franchisee and the type of business to succeed in this franchise business. Moving on from the problems above, the author initiated to develop an application that can make franchisees easier to purchase / invest in a franchise business. This application uses the Equity crowdfunding system which has more or less the same concept as stocks, where the money deposited will become equity or part ownership of the company in return for dividends so that franchisees can invest at relatively low prices. In developing this application, the author uses a framework based on the Javascript programming language, namely the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), and applies the Clean Architecture principle which has many benefits for the software and the development team, namely by sharing into several layers that create a code more independent, easy to read, easy to modify / update and easy to test.
