Abstract

Air luapan banjir yang kerap terjadi di Indonesia seringkali mengandung sampah-sampah rumah tangga, yang diakibatkan dari perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan. Perilaku ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan hal itu, maka dibuatlah sebuah simulasi visualisasi bencana banjir berbasis Virtual Reality yang dibangun dengan teknologi WebXR dan menggunakan Unity sebagai tools untuk mengambangkan simulasi ini. Simulasi ini nantinya akan memberikan pengalaman pada pengguna berupa visualisasi mengenai penyebab banjir, kondisi saat banjir, serta cara menyelamatkan diri dari banjir. Simulasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukasi yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sehingga masyarakat juga dapat membantu mengurangi resiko terjadinya banjir.

Flood that often occurs in Indonesia often contains household waste, which is caused by littering behavior. This behavior is influenced by several factors, one of which is the lack of public knowledge about the importance of disposing of waste in its place. To increase public awareness of this, a virtual reality-based flood disaster visualization simulation was built using WebXR technology and using Unity as a tool to develop this simulation. This simulation will provide user experience in the form of visualization of the causes of floods, conditions during floods, and how to save themselves from flood. This simulation is expected to be a useful educational tool for the community so that the community can also help reduce the risk of flooding
