Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas analisis kestabilan transien pada sistem tenaga listrik Perum Jasa Tirta II ketika mengalami gangguan, khususnya hubung singkat. Kestabilan transien merupakan aspek penting karena berhubungan langsung dengan kemampuan sistem dalam mempertahankan kondisi operasi yang seimbang setelah terjadi gangguan. Gangguan seperti hubung singkat dapat memicu perubahan signifikan pada parameter utama sistem, yaitu tegangan, frekuensi, dan sudut rotor, yang berpotensi mengganggu kontinuitas penyaluran energi listrik. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi terhadap beberapa jenis gangguan, yaitu gangguan satu fasa ke tanah dan gangguan tiga fasa, menggunakan perangkat lunak analisis sistem tenaga berbasis domain waktu. Simulasi tersebut bertujuan untuk mengamati respons dinamis sistem selama gangguan berlangsung hingga sistem kembali menuju kondisi stabil. Selain itu, dilakukan evaluasi terhadap strategi pelepasan beban (load shedding) sebagai upaya menjaga kestabilan sistem saat terjadi gangguan besar. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa respons sistem sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan lokasi gangguan serta karakteristik jaringan yang digunakan. Melalui analisis ini diperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai perilaku sistem pascagangguan dan efektivitas pelepasan beban dalam menjaga kestabilan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan strategi pengamanan sistem tenaga listrik, khususnya pada sistem kelistrikan industri.

This study presents an analysis of transient stability in the electrical power system of Perum Jasa Tirta II under fault conditions, particularly short-circuit disturbances. Transient stability plays a crucial role in ensuring that the system can maintain or regain equilibrium after a disturbance occurs. Faults such as short circuits may cause significant variations in key system parameters, including voltage, frequency, and rotor angle, which can disrupt power supply continuity. In this work, simulations are carried out for different types of faults, namely single line-to-ground faults and three-phase faults, using time-domain-based power system analysis software. The objective is to observe the dynamic response of the system during and after the disturbance until it reaches a stable condition. In addition, load shedding strategies are evaluated as a corrective action to maintain system stability during severe disturbances. The results indicate that the system response is strongly influenced by the type and location of the disturbance, as well as the network characteristics. The analysis provides deeper insight into post-fault system behavior and demonstrates the effectiveness of load shedding in restoring stability. This study is expected to contribute as a reference for improving protection and control strategies in industrial power systems.
