Abstract

Pengendalian kualitas proses produksi yang dilakukan oleh PT.
Asahimas Flat Glass, Tbk. Sidoarjo hanya menyeleksi dan memisahkan
antara produk yang cacat dan tidak cacat, belum dilakukan analisis
sehingga tidak dapat mengetahui proses sudah terkendali atau tidak.
Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan pendeteksian jenis cacat produksi
kaca LNFL pada proses pemotongan dengan menggunakan peta p
multivariat untuk mengevaluasi proses pemotongan kaca dan
menentukan faktor penyebab cacat. Data yang digunakan adalah data
sekunder tentang karakteristik kualitas atribut untuk periode Januari-
Desember 2013. Dari hasil evaluasi proses, dapat disimpulkan bahwa
produksi kaca jenis LNFL pada proses pemotongan bulan Januari
sampai dengan Desember 2013 mengalami pergeseran proses karena
proporsi cacat yang semakin meningkat. Sehingga, perlu adanya
pembagian menjadi 2 tahap dan diperoleh hasil bahwa tahap 1 dan
tahap 2 tidak berbeda, namun peningkatan tiap cacat tidak dapat
diidentifikasi pada jenis cacat tertentu. Dari hasil diagram pareto,
dapat diketahui bahwa jenis cacat yang paling mendominasi dalam
produksi kaca pada saat proses pemotongan kaca bulan Januari sampai
dengan Desember 2013 adalah scratch dengan rata-rata sebesar
47,05%, cullet dengan rata-rata sebesar 27,25%, pushmark dengan
rata-rata sebesar 9,15% dan chipping dengan rata-rata sebesar
10,15%. Dari hasil diagram sebab akibat, dapat diketahui faktor-faktor
penyebab cacat diantaranya yaitu kualitas bahan baku yang belum baik,
operator kelelahan dan kurang teliti, cara pemotongan belum optimal,
kurangnya maintenance, usia mesin yang sudah tua dan pengaturan
mesin yang belum sesuai.

Quality control of the production process who carried by PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk. Sidoarjo just select and separate the defective and not defective product, the company never doing a analysis so process is can not known under control or not. In this study will do detection defect types of glass LNFL in cutting process with using multivariate p control chart to evaluate the glass cutting process and determining the causes of disability. The data used is secondary data on the characteristics of quality attributes for period January to December 2013 From results of evaluation process, it can be concluded that the production of glass types LNFL on cutting process from January to December 2013 have shifted because proportion of defects is increasing. Thus, the analysis is separated into 2 phases and the results is no different between stage 1 and stage 2, but the increase of each defect can not be identified on a specific type of disability. From the results of Pareto diagram, it can be seen that the most dominating type of defects in the production of glass during the glass cutting process from January to December 2013 was a scratch with an average by 47.05%, cullet with an average by 27.25%, pushmark with an average by 9.15% and chipping in with an average by 10.15%. From the result of Ishikawa diagram, knowed factors causing disability such as the quality of raw materials have not been good, operator fatigue and less rigorous, way of cutting is not optimal, lack of maintenance, the age old machines and machine settings are not appropriate.
