Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of education aspects, health aspects, and economic aspects on the human development index (HDI) in all districts / cities of Central Java in 2015-2019 using panel data regression. In this study, there were 8 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. Independent variables include Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Poor Ratio, Ratio of Junior High School Students to Teachers, Ratio of High School Students to Schools, Ratio of Doctors, Ratio of Midwives, and Ratio of Nurses. And the independent variable in this study is the Human Development Index (HDI) in all districts / cities in Central Java within a period of 5 years, namely in 2015-2019. The data analysis method used in this study is panel data regression analysis which is a regression analysis with a data structure that is panel data. The result of this study is that there are 2 best models, namely the individual effect FEM model and the individual and time effect FEM model. In the FEM model, there are 3 independent variables that have a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Central Java, namely the Poor Ratio, the Ratio of High School Students to Teachers, and the Midwife Ratio with a coefficient of determination of 99.24%.
