Abstract
Perkembangan sistem informasi terdistribusi menuntut ketersediaan data yang konsisten dan sinkron antar lokasi. Pada lingkungan organisasi dengan banyak cabang, perbedaan sistem basis data serta keterbatasan konektivitas dapat menjadi kendala dalam pengelolaan data terpusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan dan menganalisis mekanisme replikasi data dua arah (bidirectional replication) antara basis data Oracle sebagai Head Office (HO) dan MySQL sebagai basis data cabang menggunakan SymmetricDS. Implementasi dilakukan dengan arsitektur satu server dan dua node edge, di mana tabel EMP dan DEPT direplikasi secara penuh (insert, update, dan delete) pada ketiga basis data. Proses replikasi dijalankan dalam lingkungan Docker untuk memastikan konsistensi konfigurasi dan kemudahan deployment. Pengujian dilakukan dengan skenario perubahan data pada masing‑masing node untuk memastikan replikasi berjalan dengan baik pada kedua arah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa SymmetricDS mampu menangani replikasi data lintas basis data yang secara mekanisme sinkronisasi berbasis trigger dan batch data yang dikirim secara otomatis antar node, dengan catatan konfigurasi trigger, router, serta proses registrasi node dilakukan dengan benar. Sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk mendukung sinkronisasi data pada sistem terdistribusi dengan arsitektur multi‑cabang.

The development of distributed information systems requires data availability that is consistent and synchronized across multiple locations. In organizational environments with numerous branches, differences in database systems and limited connectivity can pose challenges to centralized data management. This study aims to implement and analyze a bidirectional data replication mechanism between an Oracle database as the Head Office (HO) and a MySQL database as branch databases using SymmetricDS. The implementation is carried out using an architecture consisting of one server and two edge nodes, where the EMP and DEPT tables are fully replicated (insert, update, and delete) across all three databases. The replication process is executed within a Docker environment to ensure configuration consistency and ease of deployment. Testing is conducted through various data modification scenarios at each node to verify that bidirectional replication functions properly. The results show that SymmetricDS is capable of handling cross-database replication through a synchronization mechanism based on triggers and batch data transmission, which are automatically distributed between nodes. However, successful implementation depends on proper configuration of triggers, routers, and node registration processes. This system can serve as an effective solution for supporting data synchronization in distributed systems with multi-branch architectures.
