Abstract
Generasi Alpha pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah (K-12) memiliki karakteristik rentang perhatian yang pendek sehingga membutuhkan mekanisme pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. PT Sentra Vidya Utama (SEVIMA), sebuah perusahaan teknologi pendidikan, memerlukan produk baru untuk mendukung ekspansi layanannya ke segmen K-12. Kerja praktik ini bertujuan mengembangkan EduQuest K-12 – Gamified Academic Journey, yaitu platform pembelajaran berbasis web yang menerapkan gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar siswa. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan React.js pada sisi frontend, arsitektur RESTful API berbasis Go pada sisi backend, serta PostgreSQL sebagai basis data, dan diterapkan menggunakan Docker pada sebuah Virtual Private Server. Platform menyediakan fitur untuk tiga peran pengguna, yaitu guru, siswa, dan orang tua, yang dilengkapi elemen gamifikasi berupa poin pengalaman (XP), koin, papan peringkat, misi harian, serta hewan peliharaan virtual. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode black-box menggunakan teknik equivalence partitioning dan role-based testing secara iteratif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan frontend sebesar 100% dan backend sebesar 96,81% pada iterasi terakhir. Dengan demikian, platform EduQuest K-12 berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional yang ditetapkan dan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan lebih lanjut bagi SEVIMA.

Alpha Generation students in primary and secondary education (K-12) exhibit short attention spans, necessitating more interactive learning mechanisms. PT Sentra Vidya Utama (SEVIMA), an educational technology company, requires a new product to support its expansion into the K-12 segment. This internship aims to develop EduQuest K-12 – Gamified Academic Journey, a web-based learning platform that implements gamification to enhance student learning engagement. The system was developed using React.js for the frontend, a Go-based RESTful API architecture for the backend, and PostgreSQL for the database, and was deployed using Docker on a Virtual Private Server. The platform provides features for three user roles—teachers, students, and parents—equipped with gamification elements such as experience points (XP), coins, leaderboards, daily missions, and virtual pets. Testing was conducted iteratively using the black-box method, specifically applying equivalence partitioning and role-based testing techniques. The test results in the final iteration demonstrated a 100% success rate for the frontend and 96.81% for the backend. Consequently, the EduQuest K-12 platform has successfully met the specified functional requirements and can serve as a foundation for further development at SEVIMA.
