Abstract

Mitra pada proyek ini adalah PT Petrokimia Gresik, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pupuk dan petrokimia yang merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). Sebagai perusahaan industri berskala besar dengan ribuan karyawan dan area pabrik yang luas, PT Petrokimia Gresik memiliki kebutuhan tinggi terhadap sistem keselamatan kerja (K3) yang andal. Salah satu aspek penting dalam manajemen keselamatan adalah kemampuan untuk mengetahui jumlah personel yang berada di area tertentu, terutama pada titik-titik evakuasi darurat. Proyek ini merupakan pengembangan sebuah sistem bernama Automated Head Counting System, yaitu sistem penghitungan jumlah kepala (menghitung orang) secara otomatis berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang memanfaatkan infrastruktur kamera CCTV yang telah tersedia di PT Petrokimia Gresik. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memantau dan menghitung jumlah personel secara real-time pada titik-titik evakuasi di lingkungan pabrik. Sistem dibangun sebagai aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat diakses oleh petugas K3 maupun administrator. Aplikasi ini mengambil stream video langsung dari kamera CCTV melalui protokol RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol), kemudian mengolah setiap frame menggunakan model deteksi objek RF-DETR (Detection Transformer) untuk mendeteksi dan menghitung jumlah orang yang berada dalam frame tersebut. Hasil deteksi ditampilkan secara langsung (live view) beserta informasi jumlah orang, timestamp, dan frame rate (FPS).

The partner for this project is PT Petrokimia Gresik, a company engaged in the fertilizer and petrochemical industry, which is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). As a large-scale industrial company with thousands of employees and an extensive plant area, PT Petrokimia Gresik has a high demand for a reliable occupational health and safety (OHS) system. One important aspect of safety management is the ability to determine the number of personnel located in a particular area, especially at emergency evacuation points. This project involves the development of a system called the Automated Head Counting System—an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system for automatically counting the number of heads (people counting) by leveraging the existing CCTV camera infrastructure at PT Petrokimia Gresik. The system is designed to monitor and count the number of personnel in real time at evacuation points within the plant environment. The system is built as a web-based application that can be accessed by both OHS officers and administrators. The application retrieves live video streams from the CCTV cameras via the RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol), then processes each frame using the RF-DETR (Detection Transformer) object detection model to detect and count the number of people present in the frame. The detection results are displayed in real time (live view), along with information on the number of people, the timestamp, and the frame rate (FPS).
