Abstract
Kondisi kesehatan mental mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) yang menurun dan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan akademik menjadi perhatian Direktorat Kemahasiswaan ITS. Layanan konseling yang tersedia masih bersifat reaktif dan pasif, tanpa mekanisme pemantauan aktif maupun sarana skrining mandiri, sehingga banyak kasus baru terdeteksi setelah kondisinya parah. Kerja praktik ini bertujuan mengembangkan MenTech (Mental Detech), yaitu platform berbasis web yang mampu membaca dan menganalisis kondisi kesehatan mental mahasiswa berdasarkan isian, memberikan analisis beserta saran penanganan, serta mendukung penanganan dini, pemetaan kondisi, dan pengambilan keputusan. Sistem dikembangkan secara agile menggunakan Next.js 16, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, dan Prisma, dengan mengintegrasikan instrumen DASS-21, pemetaan Spectrum Hawkins, modul Tiny Habits, serta konten edukatif berbasis Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) ke dalam satu alur deteksi dini dan triase berlapis. Pengujian dilakukan melalui pengujian unit, end-to-end, dan usability berbasis rujukan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan 176 pengujian unit dan 135 pengujian end-to-end lolos seluruhnya (100%), dengan 94% temuan audit berstatus PASS, serta 8 dari 10 skenario usability dinyatakan aman. Dengan demikian, MenTech berhasil menyediakan sistem analisis kesehatan mental yang mendukung peralihan penanganan dari pendekatan reaktif menjadi proaktif, meskipun integrasi SSO ITS dan beberapa fitur lanjutan masih memerlukan pengembangan berikutnya.

The declining mental health condition among students at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), which affects their academic performance, has become a major concern for the ITS Directorate of Student Affairs. The available counseling services remain reactive and passive, lacking any active monitoring mechanism or self-screening tool, causing many cases to be detected only after the condition has become severe. This internship project aims to develop MenTech (Mental Detech), a web-based platform capable of reading and analyzing students' mental health conditions based on their input, providing analysis along with treatment recommendations, and supporting early intervention, condition mapping, and decision-making. The system was developed using an agile approach with Next.js 16, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Prisma, integrating the DASS-21 instrument, Spectrum Hawkins mapping, the Tiny Habits module, and educational content based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into a single layered early-detection and triage flow. Testing was conducted through unit testing, end-to-end testing, and reference-based usability testing. The test results show that all 176 unit tests and 135 end-to-end tests passed successfully (100%), with 94% of audit findings marked as PASS, and 8 out of 10 usability scenarios rated as safe. Overall, MenTech successfully provides a mental health analysis system that supports the shift from a reactive to a proactive treatment approach, although the ITS Single Sign-On (SSO) integration and several advanced features still require further development.
