Abstract

Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di PT Enha Duta Econsindo dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui penerapan ilmu teknik rekayasa konversi energi dalam dunia industri, khususnya pada bidang project engineering, konstruksi, dan maintenance. Selama pelaksanaan magang, penulis terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas, meliputi penyusunan dokumen engineering dan administrasi proyek, pembuatan penjadwalan menggunakan Microsoft Project, monitoring fabrikasi dan pelaksanaan proyek, penyusunan Job Method Statement (JMS) dan Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), pembuatan desain dan perhitungan scaffolding berdasarkan standar AS/NZS 1576.1 dan BS EN 12811, monitoring pekerjaan predictive and corrective maintenance pada fasilitas Shell Gresik Terminal, serta penerapan aspek Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) melalui toolbox meeting, safety induction, inspeksi alat pelindung diri, dan pelatihan keselamatan kerja. Selain itu, penulis juga melakukan kegiatan engineering design menggunakan Autodesk Inventor dan AutoCAD serta mengikuti proses evaluasi kinerja proyek melalui penyusunan performance indicator dan presentasi monthly meeting. Seluruh kegiatan tersebut memberikan pemahaman mengenai penerapan manajemen proyek, pengendalian mutu, keselamatan kerja, serta standar teknis dalam pelaksanaan proyek industri. Hasil kegiatan magang menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pelaksanaan proyek sangat dipengaruhi oleh perencanaan yang sistematis, koordinasi antar pihak, pengendalian jadwal, penerapan standar teknik, serta implementasi budaya keselamatan kerja secara konsisten sehingga proyek dapat berjalan secara aman, efektif, dan sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang ditetapkan.

This internship was conducted at PT Enha Duta Econsindo to enhance students' competencies through the practical application of Energy Conversion Engineering knowledge in industrial environments, particularly in project engineering, construction, and maintenance. During the internship, the author participated in various activities, including the preparation of engineering and project administration documents, project scheduling using Microsoft Project, fabrication and project execution monitoring, development of Job Method Statements (JMS) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), scaffolding design and structural calculations based on AS/NZS 1576.1 and BS EN 12811 standards, monitoring predictive and corrective maintenance activities at Shell Gresik Terminal, and implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices through toolbox meetings, safety induction, personal protective equipment inspections, and safety training. In addition, the author was involved in engineering design using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, as well as project performance evaluation through the preparation of performance indicators and monthly meeting presentations. These activities provided comprehensive insights into project management, quality control, occupational safety, and the application of engineering standards in industrial project execution. The internship results indicate that successful project implementation is strongly influenced by systematic planning, effective coordination among stakeholders, schedule control, compliance with engineering standards, and consistent implementation of occupational safety practices, enabling projects to be completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the required specifications.
