Abstract
Turbin gas merupakan komponen utama pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap yang memerlukan pemeliharaan berkala untuk menjaga keandalan dan kontinuitas operasi. Salah satu bentuk pemeliharaan yang dilakukan adalah Combustion Inspection sebagai bagian dari program overhaul. Laporan magang ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan overhaul Combustion Inspection terhadap unjuk kerja Turbin Gas Unit 1.3 di PT. Nusantara Power UP Gresik pada kondisi operasi beban 100 MW. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lapangan selama kegiatan magang, studi literatur, pengumpulan data operasi sebelum dan sesudah Combustion Inspection, serta analisis performa berdasarkan siklus Brayton melalui perhitungan daya kompresor, daya turbin, daya netto, konsumsi bahan bakar, Back Work Ratio (BWR), efisiensi kompresor, efisiensi turbin, dan efisiensi siklus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa setelah Combustion Inspection daya kompresor meningkat sebesar 417,31 kW, daya turbin menurun sebesar 417,31 kW, konsumsi bahan bakar menurun sebesar 0,003 kg/kWh, efisiensi kompresor meningkat sebesar 0,82%, sedangkan efisiensi siklus turbin gas mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,22%. Sementara itu, daya netto, Back Work Ratio, dan efisiensi turbin tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tujuan utama overhaul melalui Combustion Inspection bukan semata-mata meningkatkan efisiensi termal, tetapi lebih berfokus pada peningkatan keandalan, keselamatan operasi, dan keberlangsungan performa unit pembangkit hingga periode overhaul berikutnya.

Gas turbines are the primary components of Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPPs) and require periodic maintenance to ensure operational reliability and continuity. One of the scheduled maintenance activities is Combustion Inspection (CI), which is performed as part of the overhaul program. This industrial internship report aims to analyze the performance of Gas Turbine Unit 1.3 at PT. Nusantara Power UP Gresik before and after the implementation of Combustion Inspection under a 100 MW operating load. The study employed field observations during the internship, literature review, operational data collection before and after Combustion Inspection, and performance analysis based on the Brayton cycle by evaluating compressor power, turbine power, net power output, specific fuel consumption, Back Work Ratio (BWR), compressor efficiency, turbine efficiency, and cycle efficiency. The results indicate that after Combustion Inspection, compressor power increased by 417.31 kW, turbine power decreased by 417.31 kW, specific fuel consumption decreased by 0.003 kg/kWh, and compressor efficiency improved by 0.82%, while gas turbine cycle efficiency decreased by 0.22%. Meanwhile, net power output, Back Work Ratio, and turbine efficiency showed no significant changes. These findings indicate that the primary objective of overhaul through Combustion Inspection is not merely to improve thermal efficiency but to enhance the reliability, operational safety, and sustainable performance of the generating unit until the next scheduled overhaul.
