Abstract

Penurunan industri alas kaki global akibat dampak pandemi Covid-19 hingga 70% menyebabkan Balai Pengembangan Industri Persepatuan Indonesia (BPIPI) berinisiatif membuat platform digital Indonesia Footwear Network (IFN) untuk merespon perubahan tatanan industri alas kaki nasional. Platform IFN ini bertujuan untuk menjadi hub yang menghubungkan antara pengusaha dan konsumen alas kaki, mulai dari penyedia bahan dan material lokal, industri manufaktur, jasa, asosiasi atau komunitas, hingga ke local brand. Sejak peluncuran IFN pada tahun Agustus 2020, telah terdapat 80 mitra yang bergabung. Jumlah mitra ini masih jauh di bawah target BPIPI mengingat terdapat 18.867 unit usaha industri alas kaki se-Indonesia yang berpotensi untuk berkolaborasi melalui IFN. Umpan balik dan pengaduan dari mitra kepada BPIPI belum memberikan kejelasan terkait kebutuhannya. Oleh sebab itu BPIPI bermaksud meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna IFN. Langkah-langkah yang akan ditempuh untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna IFN merujuk pada metode Design Thinking dengan lima fase yaitu emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pertama, tahap empathize, merupakan pemahaman terhadap konteks kebutuhan dan permasalahan antar kategori usaha industri alas kaki. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara kepada pelaku usaha alas kaki yang mewakili tiap kategori usaha dikombinasikan dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk selanjutnya dituangkan dalam empathy map dan user journey mapping. Kedua, tahap define, merupakan analisis prioritas kebutuhan pengguna IFN. Ketiga, tahap ideate, adalah pengembangan ide-ide rancangan pengalaman pengguna IFN berdasarkan hasil dari tahap kedua. Keempat, tahap prototype, adalah perwujudan rancangan IFN berdasarkan ide-ide terpilih dari tahap ketiga. Kelima, tahap test, merupakan pengujian rancangan IFN kepada target pengguna potensial serta para ahli baik di bidang industri alas kaki maupun di bidang pengalaman pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi (1) Perubahan dan Penyesuaian tampilan IFN Home, (2) Sistem Quick Register, (3) Penyesuaian, Formulir Pendaftaran, (4) Penyesuaian Tampilan Etalase Kreatif, (5) Penambahan Fitur Collect and Go, (6) Penambahan Fitur Ruang Sampel, (7) Penyesuaian Distribusi Mitra, (8) Penambahan fitur IFN Labs sebagai pengembangan yang efektif dan adaptif sesuai dengan dinamika kebutuhan pengguna.

The decline of the global footwear industry the impact of to 70% due to the COVID- 19 pandemic has made the Indonesian Footwear Industri Development Center (BPIPI) take the initiative to create the Indonesia Footwear Network (IFN) digital platform as a respond to changes in the national footwear industry structure. The IFN platform aims to be a hub that connects between entrepreneurs and footwear consumers, ranging from local material and material providers, manufacturing industries, services, machinery and equipment, associations or communities, to local brands. From the launch of IFN in August 2020, 80 partners have joined. However, this number of partners is still far below BPIPI's target as there are 18,867 business units of the footwear industry in Indonesia that have the potential to collaborate through IFN. Feedback and complaints from partners to BPIPI have not provided a link regarding their needs. Therefore BPIPI intends to improve the IFN user experience.. Therefore, BPIPI intends to improve the user experience of IFN to make their use more effective. This research is applying Design Thinking method, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test to improve the IFN users experience. First, the empathize stage is an understanding of the context of needs and problems between business categories of the footwear industry.Data collection was carried out through interviews with footwear business actors representing each stakeholder combined with Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to be further elaborated in an empathy map and user journey mapping. Second, the define stage is a priority analysis of user needs. Third, the ideate stage is the development of IFN user experience design ideas based on the results of the second stage. Fourth, the prototype stage is the realization of the IFN design based on selected ideas from the third stage. Fifth, the test phase, is a test of the IFN design to potential target users and experts both in the footwear industry and in the field of user experience. The results of this study provides recommendations (1) Changes and Adjustments to the IFN Home display, (2) Quick Register System, (3) Adjustments, Registration Forms, (4) Creative Storefront Display Adjustments, (5) Added Collect and Go Features, (6) Added Sample Room Features, (7) Adjustments to Partner Distribution, (8) Added IFN Labs features. for the development of an effective and adaptive user experience according to the dynamics of user needs.
