Abstract

Survei ditujukan hanya kepada pengguna Charge.IN.

PT PLN (Persero) has launched Charge.IN, an aggregator platform for electric vehicle charging operating systems and payment transactions at Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) based on Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) 1.6. The benefits and conveniences offered by Charge.IN can affect the increasing interest of electric vehicle users to use Charge.IN. The presence of similar applications increase the competition in the use of electric vehicle charging applications in Indonesia. So, it is necessary to do a study to measure the acceptance of Charge.IN technology. This study identifies the factors that influence the success of technology acceptance especially it’s mobile application by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Identification is obtained by measuring the correlation and impact between Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Security, Perceived Risk, Self Efficacy, Perceived Financial Cost, System/ Software Quality, Trust, Brand Image, Behavioral Intention, and Actual Use. The research was conducted by making models, determining the population and research samples, making questionnaires, testing the quality of questionnaires, distributing questionnaires, processing data, testing hypotheses, analyzing results and conclusions. The survey is addressed to Charge.IN users. The questions in the survey use a modified TAM approach. Testing Model to test and analyze data from research instruments using the SMART PLS 3.2.9 application. From the results of the test and analysis, it can be seen that of the 14 research hypotheses, it was found that 8 failed to be rejected and 6 were rejected. It is known that Behavioral Intention has a positive and significant effect on Actual Use, then Perceived Usefulness and Brand Image have positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention. System/ Software Quality positively and significantly affects Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Security, Perceived Risk, and Trust. Meanwhile Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Security, Perceived Risk, Self Efficacy, Perceived Cost, and Trust do no affect Behavioral Intention. The results of this study can be a recommendation to PLN to increase the existence of Charge.IN as a charging platform and PLN as pioneers of provider electric vehicle infrastructure in Indonesia.
