Abstract
Malang daerah yang sering terjadi Gempa Bumi karena letaknya berada pada daerah subduksi lempeng. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan sering terjadi gempa ber-skala besar. Dilakukan perhitungan ulang bangunan RS Universitas Islam Malang pada kelas situs sedang (SD) dengan Sistem Rangka Dinding Geser Beton Biasa, Sistem Rangka Dinding Geser Beton Khusus, Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Biasa (SRPMB) dan Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK). Bahwa semua struktur tidak memenuhi Displacement karena beban gempa berlebih, sehingga perlu dilakukan peredaman kepada gempa yang terjadi. Selain itu, adanya ketidakberaturan struktur juga ditinjau terhadap pengaruh adanya penggunaan base isolation. Tujuan dari laporan ini untuk melakukan desain alternatif gedung dengan base isolator tipe Friction Pendulum System untuk membandingkan dengan sistem struktur lainnya terhadap interstory drift, base shear, displacement, dan fundamental period. Dari analisis yang sudah dilakukan, untuk perbandingan interstory drift akibat gempa, struktur base isolator memiliki interstory drift lebih kecil dibanding fixed base. Base isolator mampu mereduksi interstory drift rata-rata hingga 81.7% terhadap SRPMB, 73.6% terhadap SRPMK, 80.6% terhadap shearwall biasa. 79.4% terhadap shearwall khusus pada arah X serta 83.3% terhadap SRPMB, 75.7% terhadap SRPMK, 46.1% terhadap shearwall biasa. 42.8% terhadap shearwall khusus pada arah Y. untuk perbandingan base shear base isolation lebih besar (meningkat) dibanding fixed base. Hal ini karen koefisien modifikasi respon, R, base isolation lebih kecil dibanding fixed base sehingga menghasilkan gaya gempa yang lebih besar. Namun Struktur dengan base isolator memiliki displacement pada daerah tingkat pertama lebih besar daripada struktur dengan fix base namun bertambah dengan tidak signifikan daripada fix base.

Malang earthquakes often occur because it is located in a plate subduction area. The Islamic University Hospital Malang building was recalculated for medium site class (SD) with Ordinary Shear Wall System, Special Shear Wall System, Ordinary Moment Frame System (OMF) and Special Moment Frame System (SMF). That all structures do not meet the displacement due to excessive earthquake loads, so it is necessary to attenuate the earthquake that occurs. In addition, the presence of structural irregularities is also reviewed for the effect of the use of base isolation. The purpose of this report is to design an alternative building with a base isolator type Friction Pendulum System to compare with other structural systems for interstory drift, base shear, displacement, and fundamental period. From the analysis that has been done, for the comparison of interstory drift due to the earthquake, the base isolator structure has a smaller interstory drift than the fixed base. Base isolator is able to reduce interstory drift on average up to 81.7% against OMF, 73.6% against SMF, 80.6% against ordinary shearwall. 79.4% against special shearwall in the X direction and 83.3% against OMF, 75.7% against SMF, 46.1% against ordinary shearwall. 42.8% against special shearwall in x direction. for comparison . For base shear base isolation is greater (increase) than fixed base. This is because the response modification coefficient, R, base isolation is smaller than the fixed base so that it produces a larger earthquake force. However, the structure with base isolator has a higher displacement in the first level area than the structure with fixed base but it increases significantly compared to the fixed base.
