Abstract
Pada tugas akhir ini kami melakukan penelitian pada mesin Roto Packer yang ada di PT Semen Gresik, Tuban. Mesin Roto Packer yaitu alat yang digunakan untuk mengisi semen pada sak secara otomatis sesuai dengan jumlah yang diinginkan. Dan mesin ini merupakan komponen vital bagi PT. SEMEN GRESIK, yang dalam hubungannya dengan efisiensi dan efektifitas produksi.Setelah menjalani penelitian kami melakukan perhitungan pada sistem pneumatik untuk menentukan kapasitas dan tekanan yang dibutuhkan sistem pneumatik, dan juga menentukan kompresor untuk menyuplai kapasitas dan tekanan pada sistem pneumatik. Setelah melakukan perhitungan, kapasitas yang yang dibutuhkan sistem pneumatik sebesar 3.6 x 10^(-2)m^3/menit, pressure drop total dari tiap silinder sebesar 4.029 x 10^(-4)\bar, kapasitas air receiver 0.78\m^3. Maka dipilihlah kompresor reciprocating type PM – 7 dengan spesifikasi kapasitas 0.566m^3\menit, tekanan discharge 12.410\bar.Setelah melakukan perhitungan pada sistem pneumatik, maka dapat diketahui biaya pemakaian kompresor yang dikeluarkan untuk mengoperasikan Roto Packer selama 1 hari yaitu sebesar Rp.121145.2

At this final duty we do research at machine of Roto Packer exist in Semen Gresik Factory, Tuban. Machine of Roto Packer that is appliance used to fill cement at zak automatically as according to amount of which in wishing. And this machine represent important component to SEMENT GRESIK FACTORY, which in relation with efficiency and effectiveness production. After experiencing research, we doing calculation at system of pneumatik to determine pressure and capacities which in requiring system of pneumatik, as well as determining compressor for the supply of pressure and capacities at system of pneumatik. Calculation having taken steps, capacities which required by system of pneumatik equal to 3.6 x 10^(-2)m^3/minute, totalized pressure drop of each cylinder equal to 4.029 x 10^(-4)\bar, capacities of air receiver 0.78\m^3. Hence selected type of reciprocating compressor is PM – 7 with specification of capacities 0.566m^3/minute, pressure of discharge $12.410\bar.Calculation having taken steps at system of pneumatik, hence can know by the expense of usage of compressor which in releasing to operate Roto Packer during 1 day that is equal to Rp.121145.2
