Abstract

PG.Gempolkrep, salah satu pabrik gula di lingkungan P.T. PERKEBUNAN X (Persero). Pada proses produksi diperlukan udara bertekanan untuk menyuplai mesin-mesin sistem pneumatik pada unit HGF (High Grade Fugal), Timbangan/Pengepakan, dan Evaporator. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu instalasi udara bertekanan yang sesuai dengan kapasitas dan daya yang dibutuhkan. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan kapasitas total sebesar 0,2476m^3/s, efisiensi volumetris 0,7738 dan daya sebesar 99.7788 hp dan pemilihan kompresor jenis Reciprocating (one stage) double acting, maka dipilihlah Swan Air Compressor type WD-2150S dengan kapasitas 15781 liter/min pada tekanan 7 kgf/cm^2, dengan putaran 300 rpm.Untuk motor penggerak kompresor, dipilihlah Teco Elec & Mach Frame No. A250 SC dengan daya output 100hp/75 kW.

Therefore is required an installation of compressed air matching with capacities and power required. From result of calculation got by total capacities 0,2476m^3/s, volumetric efficiency 0,7738 and power 99.7788 hp and election of type compressor is reciprocating compressor (one stage) double acting, hence selected by Swan Air Compressor type WD-2150S with capacities 15781 liter/min at 7kgf/cm}^2, with 300 rpm. For motor is selected by Teco Elec & Mach Frame No A250 SC with output power 100hp/75 kW.
