Abstract
Bentuk bodi kendaraan sangat menentukan beban aerodinamika yang harus diterima kendaraan saat berjalan. Beban aerodinamika tersebut salah satunya adalah gaya drag dan gaya lift. Saat ini banyak kendaraan yang dilengkapi dengan peralatan aerodinamika seperti airdam dan rear spoiler untuk mengontrol beban aerodinamika. Tugas akhir ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemasangan airdam dan rear spoiler pada kendaraan jenis van. Pengujian dilakukan dengan pemodelan numerik menggunakan software fluent 6.2.16 untuk membantu analisa distribusi tekanan berupa pressure coefficient, distribusi kecepatan disekitar kendaraan dan drag koeffisien dari keempat model uji. Dari hasil pengujian terlihat bahwa pemasangan airdam dan rear spoiler mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap beban aerodinamika kendaraan jenis van. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari harga pressure coefficient dan drag koefficient. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan harga Cd dari model uji 1 = 0,666., model uji 2 = 1,282., model uji 3 = 1,206., model uji 4 = 1,664. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemasangan rear spoiler mempunyai pengaruh yang paling baik, yaitu harga Cd = 1,208 dan harga Cp yang tinggi pada ujung belakang permukaan atas, harga Cp yang rendah pada permukaan bawah.

The body shape of vehicle determine the aerodynamic load when it's moving. The aerodynamic load are drag force and lift force. Now days, many vehicle are added by accesory like airdam and rear spoiler to control aerodynamic load. This final assignment was executed for knowing the effect of added airdam and rear spoiler to the van. This examination was executed by numeric model with Fluent 6.2.16 program for help analysing pressure distribution CP, velocity distribution, and drag coefficient CD of four model. From the result, we know that added of airdam and rear spoiler influences aerodynamic load. It could be proved from value of pressure coefficient and drag coefficient. From calculated result, the CD of model 1 = 0,666., model 2 = 1,282., model 3 = 1,206., model 4 = 1,664. The conclusion are that added rear spoiler have best effect which CD = 1,206; high pressure coefficient at raer-end of upper surface and low pressure coefficient along lower surface.
