Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Pit 9 Site Kintap, Kalimantan Selatan, dengan tujuan mengetahui persebaran seam antar sumur bor, menguji korelasi log densitas terhadap kualitas batubara, serta melakukan prediksi kualitas batubara menggunakan metode Radial Basis Function (RBF). Analisis persebaran seam dilakukan melalui korelasi seam antar titik bor. Pengujian hubungan antara log densitas dan kualitas batubara dilakukan menggunakan analisis korelasi distance. Hasil keseleruhan seam menunjukkan bahwa parameter ASH, TM, RD, dan CV berkorelasi dengan log densitas, dengan hasil korelasi kuat hingga rendah. Nilai korelasi meningkat seiring kedalaman seam, dari EU1 (dominan rendah) menuju FU3 (dominan sedang) dan IU (didominasi sedang hingga kuat). Selanjutnya dilakukan prediksi kualitas batubara menggunakan metode Radial Basis Function (RBF). Metode ini dipilih karena mampu memodelkan hubungan non-linear pada data geologi yang bersifat heterogen. Hasil prediksi menunjukkan bahwa metode RBF mampu memberikan estimasi kualitas batubara yang mendekati data aktual dengan nilai selisih dan error yang bervariasi untuk keseluruhan parameter, Parameter RD menunjukkan performa terbaik dengan max error di bawah 3.3%, sedangkan ASH memiliki error tertinggi hingga 38.94%.

This research was conducted at Pit 9, Site Kintap, South Kalimantan, with the objectives of identifying the distribution of coal seams between boreholes, evaluating the correlation between density logs and coal quality, and predicting coal quality using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) method. Seam distribution analysis was carried out through the correlation of coal seams between drilling points. The relationship between density logs and coal quality was evaluated using distance correlation analysis. The overall seam analysis indicated that the parameters of Ash Content (ASH), Total Moisture (TM), Relative Density (RD), Calorifc Value (CV) were correlated with density logs, with correlation strengths ranging from weak to strong. Correlation values generally increased with seam depth, from EU1 (predominantly weak correlations) to FU3 (predominantly moderate correlations) and IU (predominantly modearate until strong correlations). Subsequently, coal quality prediction was performed using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) method. This method was selected due to its capability to model non-linear relationships within heterogeneous geological data. The results show that the Radial Basis Function (RBF) method can effectively predict coal quality parameters with values closely matching the actual data. However, the prediction accuracy varies among the parameters. RD achieved the highest accuracy, with maximum errors of less than 3.3%, whereas ASH recorded the largest prediction error, reaching 38.94%.
