Abstract

Grha ITS Surabaya sebagai ruang multifungsi membutuhkan kenyamanan akustik untuk fungsi pidato dan musik. Evaluasi dan analisis diperlukan untuk memenuhi fungsi tersebut. Evaluasi dan optimasi dilakukan melalui pengukuran dan simulasi parameter akustik, seperti: background noise, noise criteria, distribusi Sound Pressure Level (SPL), reverberation time, bass ratio, treble ratio, Speech Transmission Index (STI), D_50¸dan C_80. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan metode impulse response dan steady sound yang mengacu standar ISO 3382-1, kemudian divalidasi dan dioptimasi melalui perangkat lunak simulasi EASE 4.3. Hasil pengukuran kondisi existing menunjukkan distribusi SPL yang tidak merata dengan rentang 67,82 dB hingga 87,40 dB dengan sumber suara 100 dB yang berasal dari suara speaker. Nilai reverberation time diukur menggunakan metode impulse response dan diperoleh nilai 1,41 – 4,10 detik. Nilai ini menyebabkan tingkat kejelasan suara yang rendah yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata D_50 sebesar 22,52% dan C80 sebesar -4,77 dB. Nilai bass ratio (0,83) dan treble ratio (0,91) menunjukkan karakter ruang yang bright. Optimasi sistem tata suara Grha ITS difokuskan untuk meningkatkan parameter distribusi SPL, STI, dan C_80 melalui penambahan speaker dengan pengaturan sudut dan delay time. Hasil optimasi menunjukkan distribusi SPL yang jauh lebih merata (hampir 80% pada rentang 94 – 98 dB dari sumber 107 dB), STI sebesar 0,4 – 0,5 sebanyak 85%, dan C_80 didominasi nilai -3,6 dB – 1,5 dB (65%). Meskipun terdapat peningkatan, optimasi sistem tata suara belum optimal untuk mencapai nilai STI pada kategori ”sangat baik”.

Grha ITS Surabaya, as a multifunction room, need optimization acoustic comfort to support both speech intelligibility and musical performance functions. The evaluation and optimization process was conducted through the measurement and simulation of acoustic parameters, including: background noise, noise criteria, Sound Pressure Level (SPL) distribution, reverberation time, bass ratio, treble ratio, Speech Transmission Index (STI), D_50¸dan C_80. Measurements were carried out using both impulse response and steady-state sound methods in accordance with the ISO 3382-1 standard, and were subsequently validated and optimized using EASE 4.3 acoustic simulation software. The measurements under the existing condition revealed a non-uniform SPL distribution, ranging from 67,82 dB to 87.40 dB with a 100 dB sound source. The reverberation time, measured using the impulse response method, ranged from 1.41 to 4.10 s. These values resulted in poor speech clarity, as indicated by an average D_50 s value of 22.52% and an average C_80 alue of −4.77 dB. The bass ratio (0.83) and treble ratio (0.91) indicated a bright acoustic character of the room. The optimization of the Grha ITS sound reinforcement system was focused on improving SPL distribution, STI, and C_80 through the addition of speakers with appropriate angle and delay-time adjustments. The optimization results demonstrated more uniform SPL distribution (80% of points falling within 94–98 dB from a 107 dB sound source). Furthermore, 85% of the measured STI values ranged from 0.4 to 0.5, while more than 65% of the C_80 values were dominated by values above −3.6 dB – 1,5 dB. Although these improvements enhanced the overall acoustic performance, the optimized sound reinforcement system was still unable to achieve STI values corresponding to the “very good” category.
