Abstract
Kota Surabaya merupakan salah satu kota besar di Indonesia yang mengalami fenomena penurunan muka tanah (land subsidence) secara berkelanjutan, yang diindikasikan oleh meningkatnya kejadian banjir rob di wilayah pesisirnya. Pemantauan deformasi permukaan tanah secara spasial dan temporal menjadi hal yang krusial guna mendukung upaya mitigasi dan perencanaan tata ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis laju dan pola penurunan muka tanah di Kota Surabaya pada periode 2021–2024 menggunakan metode PSDS-InSAR (Permanent Scatterer–Distributed Scatterer InSAR) berbasis citra ALOS PALSAR-2 dengan pendekatan time-series . Data yang digunakan meliputi 19 scene citra ALOS PALSAR-2 polarisasi HH orbit ascending periode Desember 2021–Oktober 2024, serta data CORS stasiun CSBY milik Badan Informasi Geospasial sebagai referensi validasi. Pengolahan dilakukan melalui ISCE2 untuk koregistrasi stack SLC dan Dolphin untuk pemrosesan PSDS, dilanjutkan dengan tahap koreksi de-ramping dan filtering statistik-spasial. Hasil analisis time-series menunjukkan kecepatan subsidence rata-rata sebesar −19,5 mm hingga +3.5 mm yang menandakan masih terdapat uplift, dengan akselerasi yang signifikan pada tahun 2023. Peta mean vertical velocity pasca-filtering menghasilkan rata-rata −4,66 mm/tahun. Secara spasial, zona subsidence dominan teridentifikasi pada wilayah tengah hingga timur Surabaya yang didominasi kawasan industri dan permukiman padat, sedangkan wilayah barat laut cenderung lebih stabil. Validasi terhadap data CORS CSBY menghasilkan nilai korelasi Pearson r = 0,027, mengindikasikan bahwa hasil InSAR belum sepenuhnya konsisten terhadap data referensi geodetik, yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh noise atmosfer akibat tidak dikoreksi, phase unwrapping error, dan dekorelasi temporal.

Surabaya City is one of the major cities in Indonesia experiencing continuous land subsidence, as indicated by the increasing occurrence of tidal flooding in its coastal areas. Monitoring surface deformation both spatially and temporally is essential to support mitigation efforts and spatial planning. This study aims to analyze the rate and pattern of land subsidence in Surabaya City during the period 2021–2024 using the Permanent Scatterer–Distributed Scatterer InSAR (PSDS-InSAR) time-series approach based on ALOS PALSAR-2 imagery. The data used consisted of 19 ascending-orbit ALOS PALSAR-2 HH-polarized scenes acquired between December 2021 and October 2024, as well as CORS data from the CSBY station operated by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) for validation purposes. Data processing was carried out using ISCE2 for SLC stack coregistration and Dolphin for PSDS processing, followed by de-ramping correction and statistical-spatial filtering. The time-series analysis revealed subsidence rates ranging from −19.5 mm to +3.5 mm, indicating the presence of localized uplift, with a significant acceleration observed in 2023. The post-filtering mean vertical velocity map yielded an average deformation rate of −4.66 mm/year. Spatially, the dominant subsidence zones were identified in the central to eastern parts of Surabaya, which are characterized by industrial areas and densely populated settlements, whereas the northwestern region exhibited relatively stable conditions. Validation against CORS CSBY data resulted in a Pearson correlation coefficient of r = 0.027, indicating that the InSAR-derived results are not yet fully consistent with the geodetic reference data. This discrepancy is likely attributed to atmospheric noise, phase unwrapping errors, and temporal decorrelation.
