Abstract
Rekam medis dalam dunia kedokteran merupakan salah
satu bagian dalam proses pengobatan yang sangat krusial
kegunaan dan fungsinya, salah satu fungsi yang diberikan
oleh rekam medis adalah mencegah salahnya penanganan
terhadap pasien. Saat ini rekam medis masih dilakukan
secara tradisional dengan media kertas atau penulisan yang
masih memiliki banyak kelemahan, rekam medis yang dicatat
dalam kertas sangat rentan hilang dan rusak serta dianggap
kurang efisien karena pertukaran dan pengalian informasi
seorang pasien akan membutuhkan waktu, sementara akurasi
dan relevansi informasi masih diragukan. Sementara itu
rekam medis dengan menggunakan komputer/PC dengan
Local Area Network sebagai penghubung ke server masih
kurang efisien karena terbatasnya ruangan dan membutuhkan
penyimpanan lokal serta tenaga ahli untuk menanganinya.
Kekurangan rekam medis adalah data yang tercatat menjadi
milik dari rumah sakit sehingga harus tetap berada di rumah
sakit tersebut, sedangkan untuk dokter spesialis yang praktek
di banyak rumah sakit akan sangat menghambat kerja dan
penanganan terhadap pasien. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka dalam
tugas akhir dirancang aplikasi catatan kerja yang berbasis
web yang mengacu pada rekam medis. Dalam merancang
aplikasi tersebut akan menggunakan teknologi berbasis web
berbahasa HTML5 dengan bootstrap sebagai CSS dan
MysSQL sebagai database server sebagai media
penyimpanan tetap. Aplikasi berbasis web dipilih sebagai
solusi untuk mempermudah pencatatan rekam media karena
dapat diakses menggunakan berbabai platfrom atau sistem
operasi berbeda sehingga dapat diakses kapan saja dan
dimana saja.
Aplikasi yang dibuat adalah catatan kerja dokter
spesialis gigi dan mulut. Aplikasi catatan kerja dokter telah
melalui uji coba fungsional dan non-fungsional yang
menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi sudah sesuai dengan fungsi
yang diharapkan oleh dokter gigi dan mulut. Sehingga
aplikasi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dari
dokter gigi dan mulut dalam menangani penyakit pasien.

Medical records in the world of medicine is one part
of the treatment process is crucial usability and functionality,
one of the functions provided by the medical record is to
prevent harm to the patient's treatment. Currently medical
records are still done traditionally on paper or writing still
has many weaknesses, medical records were noted in the
paper is very susceptible lost and damaged and considered
less efficient because of the exchange and multiplication
information a patient will require time, while accuracy and
relevance of information still doubtful. While the medical
records using a computer / PC to the Local Area Network as a
link to the server is still less efficient because of the limited
space and require local storage as well as experts to handle
it. Shortage of medical record data is recorded into the
property of the hospital and should remain in the hospital,
while for specialists who practice in hospitals would greatly
hinder the work and the handling of patients.
Given these problems, the final project is designed
applications that work record that refers to web-based
medical record. In designing the application will use HTML5
web-based technologies with bootstrap speaking as CSS and
MysSQL as the database server as a permanent storage
medium. Web-based applications chosen as a solution to
facilitate the recording of recording media because it can be
accessed using berbabai different platforms or operating
systems that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Applications are made is the work record of oral and
dental specialists. Applications doctors work record has been through a trial functional and non-functional mennyimpulkan
that the application is in conformity with the functionality
expected by dentists and oral doctor. So that the application
can be used to improve the performance of the dentist and the
patient's mouth in dealing with the disease.
