Abstract

The rapid growth of electric vehicles in Indonesia requires the availability of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) that not only supply energy but also integrate metering, authentication, and payment systems. This study designs and develops a prototype of an SPKLU equipped with an energy metering system and a digital payment mechanism based on QRIS, integrated through the Internet of Things (IoT). The metering system uses the PZEM-016 sensor to measure voltage, current, power, and energy in real time. To support system security, user authentication is implemented using the RFID RC522 module, while the digital payment process utilizes QRIS through API integration on the backend server. The system is controlled by an ESP32 microcontroller, which manages sensor readings, HTTP communication with the IoT platform, and relay control during the charging process. This study adopts a prototype engineering method, consisting of requirement analysis, design, hardware and software implementation, and system testing. The results are expected to show that the system can measure energy stably, display real-time data through an IoT dashboard, verify digital payments via QRIS, and control the charging process based on transaction status.
