Abstract
Perusahaan manufaktur kosmetik menghadapi tantangan dalam menyusun perencanaan produksi yang mampu memenuhi permintaan pelanggan dengan biaya yang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) untuk mengoptimalkan perencanaan produksi dengan meminimalkan total biaya yang meliputi biaya produksi, biaya raw material, biaya packaging material, biaya persediaan produk jadi, biaya setup mesin mixing, biaya setup mesin filling, dan biaya tenaga kerja. Model dikembangkan berdasarkan karakteristik proses produksi kosmetik yang terdiri atas proses mixing, filling, dan packing, dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kendala operasional seperti kapasitas mesin, waktu produksi, eligibility filling line, serta ketersediaan packaging material. Penyelesaian model dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak LINGO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan mampu menghasilkan rencana produksi yang lebih efisien dibandingkan metode perusahaan. Total biaya produksi berhasil diturunkan dari Rp12,12 miliar menjadi Rp7,88 miliar, sehingga diperoleh penghematan sebesar Rp4,24 miliar atau 34,9%. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa biaya raw material merupakan parameter yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perubahan nilai fungsi tujuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan MILP dapat digunakan sebagai alat pendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam perencanaan produksi pada industri manufaktur kosmetik untuk meningkatkan efisiensi biaya dan pemanfaatan sumber daya.

Cosmetics manufacturers face the challenge of drawing up production plans that can meet customer demand in a cost-effective manner. This study aims to develop a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model to optimize production planning by minimizing total costs, which include production costs, raw material costs, packaging material costs, finished product inventory costs, mixing machine setup costs, filling machine setup costs, and labor costs. The model was developed based on the characteristics of the cosmetics production process, which consists of mixing, filling and packing, whilst taking into account various operational constraints such as machine capacity, production time, filling line availability and the availability of packaging materials. The model was solved using LINGO software. The results of the study show that the developed model is capable of producing a more efficient production plan compared to the company’s current method. Total production costs were successfully reduced from Rp12.12 billion to Rp7.88 billion, resulting in savings of Rp4.24 billion or 34.9%. Sensitivity analysis shows that raw material costs are the parameter that has the greatest influence on changes in the value of the objective function. The results of this study indicate that the MILP approach can be used as a decision-support tool in production planning within the cosmetics manufacturing industry to improve cost efficiency and resource utilisation.
