Abstract

Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Teknologi Rekayasa Manufaktur, Departemen Teknik Mesin Industri, Fakultas Vokasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember mewajibkan mahasiswanya untuk melaksanakan magang industri sebagai sarana penerapan ilmu teoritis ke dalam dunia kerja nyata. Magang ini dilaksanakan di Pusat Studi Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DRPM) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember selama kurang lebih empat bulan, terhitung sejak 17 Februari 2025 hingga 15 Juli 2025. Selama pelaksanaan magang, mahasiswa terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan yang mendukung operasional lembaga, meliputi pengelolaan data dan administrasi mitra kerja, penyusunan format surat resmi, pencatatan notulensi rapat, penyusunan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB), pengelolaan konten situs web resmi berbasis WordPress, pembuatan media presentasi profil lembaga, desain publikasi dan komunikasi visual, pengelolaan media sosial, serta dokumentasi kegiatan lapangan. Salah satu penugasan khusus yang dijalankan adalah dukungan administratif dan dokumentasi pada proyek kerja sama antara Pusat TTG dengan Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) dalam pengembangan drinking fountain. Melalui rangkaian kegiatan tersebut, mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman kerja aplikatif serta peningkatan kompetensi teknis dan non-teknis, khususnya dalam bidang administrasi, desain komunikasi visual, dan perencanaan proyek, sekaligus memahami penerapan konsep teknologi tepat guna yang berdampak langsung bagi masyarakat.

The Applied Bachelor's Program in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember requires students to undertake an industrial internship as a means of applying theoretical knowledge to real-world work environments. This internship was carried out at the Center for Appropriate Technology Studies (TTG), under the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM) of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, for approximately four months, from February 17, 2025 to July 15, 2025. During the internship, the student was involved in various activities supporting the institution's operations, including partner data and administrative management, drafting official letter formats, preparing meeting minutes, developing Cost Budget Plans (RAB), managing the institution's WordPress-based official website, creating institutional profile presentation materials, designing publication and visual communication materials, managing social media accounts, and documenting field activities. One specific assignment involved providing administrative support and documentation for a collaborative project between the TTG Center and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in the development of a drinking fountain. Through these activities, the student gained applied work experience and improved technical and non-technical competencies, particularly in administration, visual communication design, and project planning, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the application of appropriate technology concepts that directly benefit the community.
