Abstract
Diperlukan total modal tetap (FCI) sebesar Rp143.027.519.464,01; Modal kerja (WCI) sebesar Rp22.291.076.837,18; Modal total (TCI) sebesar Rp165.948.596.301,19; Biaya produksi per tahun (TPC) sebesar Rp288.177.414.423.

Salt is a general term used for the chemical compound known as sodium chloride. Currently, pharmaceutical-grade salt used in production processes by the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia is still highly dependent on imported pharmaceutical salt commodities. In fact, nearly 95% of pharmaceutical raw materials are obtained through imports. Pharmaceutical-grade salt is used as a main raw material in the production of infusion fluids, blood-cleansing solutions, capsule medicines, vaccine solvents, syrups, oral rehydration salts, and health drinks. The establishment of a new pharmaceutical-grade salt plant is expected to help fulfill the demand for pharmaceutical salt in Indonesia while also utilizing refined salt as a raw material, which is abundantly available in the country. The plant is planned to be established in Gresik Regency with a pharmaceutical-grade salt production capacity of 7.500 tons/year. The plant will operate for 24 hours per day and 330 days per year. The required fixed capital investment (FCI) is Rp143.027.519.464,01; working capital investment (WCI) is Rp143.027.519.464,01; total capital investment (TCI) is Rp165.948.596.301,19; and total production cost (TPC) is
Rp288.177.414.423 per year. With an estimated annual sales revenue of Rp562.506.826.060,7, the plant is projected to achieve an internal rate of return (IRR) of 28,26%, a pay-out time (POT) of 3,38 years, and a positive net present value (NPV) of Rp249.615.037.549,64. These results indicate that the pharmaceutical-grade salt plant is feasible to establish.
