Abstract
Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit kronis dengan jumlah penderita mencapai 20,4 juta orang di Indonesia dan berisiko menimbulkan komplikasi apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Pengelolaan diabetes memerlukan pemantauan kondisi pasien secara berkelanjutan. Namun, keterbatasan jumlah dokter spesialis endokrinologi dan waktu konsultasi dapat menghambat proses pemantauan serta komunikasi antara dokter dan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi diabetAku berbasis smartphone yang mendukung dokter dalam melakukan pemantauan pasien diabetes mellitus. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain riset penelitian yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan sistem, pemodelan kebutuhan fungsional, perancangan sistem, pengembangan aplikasi, serta pengujian dan evaluasi sistem. Aplikasi mobile dikembangkan menggunakan Flutter, back-end menggunakan Laravel REST API, dashboard administrator menggunakan Laravel Blade, dan PostgreSQL sebagai basis data. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan black box testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi diabetAku berhasil dikembangkan untuk mendukung dokter dalam melihat data dan riwayat kesehatan pasien, membuat catatan klinis, memberikan rekomendasi, serta mengelola resep obat. Sistem juga mendukung pencatatan data kesehatan oleh pasien dan pendamping serta menerapkan hak akses bagi dokter, pasien, pendamping, dan administrator. Pengujian terhadap 77 kasus uji menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 100%, sedangkan pengujian usability memperoleh skor SUS sebesar 80. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa fungsi utama aplikasi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan dan aplikasi dapat diterima serta mudah digunakan oleh dokter.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease affecting approximately 20.4 million people in Indonesia and may lead to complications if not properly managed. Diabetes management requires continuous monitoring of patients’ health conditions. However, the limited number of endocrinologists and restricted consultation time may hinder the monitoring process and communication between doctors and patients. This study aims to design and develop diabetAku, a smartphone-based application that supports doctors in monitoring patients with diabetes mellitus. This study uses a research design approach consisting of problem identification, literature study, system requirements analysis, functional requirements modeling, system design, application development, and system testing and evaluation. The mobile application was developed using Flutter, the back-end was built using the Laravel REST API, the administrator dashboard was developed using Laravel Blade, and PostgreSQL was used as the database. System testing was conducted using black box testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results show that the diabetAku application was successfully developed to support doctors in viewing patients’ health data and medical histories, creating clinical notes, providing recommendations, and managing medication prescriptions. The system also supports health data recording by patients and caregivers and implements role-based access for doctors, patients, caregivers, and administrators. Functional testing involving 77 test cases achieved a success rate of 100%, while usability testing obtained an SUS score of 80. These results indicate that the main functions of the application operate according to the specified requirements and that the application is acceptable and easy to use for doctors.
