Abstract

Radar Multibeam MIMO berbasis CC-OFDM menawarkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kinerja radar dengan memungkinkan transmisi dan penerimaan sinyal secara simultan di berbagai saluran, namun tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah memastikan sinkronisasi waktu dan frekuensi yang presisi antara pemancar dan penerima untuk menjaga integritas sinyal dan meningkatkan akurasi deteksi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teknik sinkronisasi berdasarkan analisis fase dan frekuensi guna mengatasi masalah keterlambatan waktu dan pergeseran frekuensi yang disebabkan oleh lingkungan propagasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan studi literatur, perancangan sistem sinkronisasi radar melalui pembangkitan sinyal CC-OFDM dan manipulasi Look-Up Table (LUT) digital pada FPGA, serta implementasi perangkat keras menggunakan FPGA Eclypse Z7 dan modul Zmod AWG 1411. Pengukuran dan analisis difokuskan pada kesamaan bentuk sinyal antar-channel, kestabilan delay, dan perbedaan fase antar-output.

Multibeam MIMO radar based on CC-OFDM offers significant potential for enhancing radar performance by enabling simultaneous signal transmission and reception across multiple channels. However, a primary challenge lies in ensuring precise time and frequency synchronization between transmitters and receivers to maintain signal integrity and improve detection accuracy. This study aims to develop a synchronization technique based on phase and frequency analysis to address issues such as time delays and frequency shifts caused by the propagation environment. The research methodology will involve an in-depth literature review, the design of a radar synchronization system through CC-OFDM signal generation and digital Look-Up Table (LUT) manipulation on an FPGA, and hardware implementation using an Eclypse Z7 FPGA and Zmod AWG 1411 modules. Measurements and analyses focused on the similarity of signal waveforms across channels and the phase differences between output signals to verify successful synchronization and the potential for improving Multibeam MIMO CC-OFDM radar performance for real-world applications.
