Abstract
Anak-anak dengan Autisme Spectrum Disorder (ASD) sering kesulitan dengan keterampilan hidup sehari-hari, Individu sering menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam menguasai Aktivitas sehari-hari. Terutama berpakaian dan perawatan diri. Hal ini dapat memengaruhi partisipasi sosial dan kemandirian mereka. Namun, pada praktik secara langsung di terapi, di lingkungan tersebut yang didapati kurang mendukung pelaksanaan aktivitas berpakaian dan perawatan diri secara optimal. Dalam konteks terapi bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan terapi yang fungsional, aman, dan mendukung kebutuhan khusus. Dengan ASD sering kali memiliki tantangan dalam kemandirian, koordinasi motorik,dan fokus. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi karakteristik fisik dan psikologi terapi serta kebutuhan spesifik mereka dalam konteks aktivitas berpakaian dan perawatan diri untuk menghasilkan desain. Urgensi berpakaian dan perawatan diri pada ASD bukanlah hanya sekedar estetika, tetapi untuk investasi jangka panjang yang dimana untuk kebutuhan dasar untuk memenuhi kualitas hidup dan keberlangsungan untuk kehidupan mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada pakar yaitu psikater dan terapis. Hasil perancangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses terapi, mendukung perkembangan kemandirian, serta menciptakan lingkungan terapi yang lebih positif, aman, dan produktif. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi implementasi desain dalam ruang terapi serta potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan anak-anak dengan ASD.

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often struggle with daily living skills. Individuals often face significant challenges in mastering daily activities, especially dressing and self-care. This can affect their social participation and independence. However, in direct practice in therapy, the environment is found to be less supportive of the implementation of dressing and self-care activities optimally. In the context of therapy, the aim is to create a therapy environment that is functional, safe, and supports special needs. With ASD often have challenges in independence, motor coordination, and focus. This study identifies the physical and psychological characteristics of therapy and their specific needs in the context of dressing and self-care activities to produce a design. The urgency of dressing and self-care in ASD is not merely aesthetic, but for long-term investment in which to meet basic needs to meet the quality of life and sustainability for their lives. The research methods used include direct observation and interviews with experts, namely psychiatrists and therapists. The results of this design are expected to increase the effectiveness of the therapy process, support the development of independence, and create a more positive, safe, and productive therapy environment. This study also provides recommendations for design implementation in therapy rooms as well as potential for further development to meet the needs of children with ASD.
