Abstract

The ITS REIDI Solar Power Plant, which has been in operation since 2024, faces critical challenges in the form of a lack of maintenance documentation, as well as damage to monitoring infrastructure and irradiance sensors. A Statistical analysis using the “performance-to-peers” method, which compares power output among units under identical operating conditions, was employed as an alternative analysis method that does not rely on weather data, supplemented by a Shewhart control chart to diagnose failure modes. Subsequently, an FMECA was conducted to identify the most critical components, complemented by reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses to provide a quantitative assessment of the system’s health. Preliminary findings of this study indicate that the system exhibits a decreasing failure rate for operational underperformance, with reliability values ranging from 3.0% to 3.4% and availability ranging from 94.69% to 95.01%. Condition-based maintenance is recommended for four types of maintenance tasks based on the classified failure modes.
