Abstract

Topsoe Furnace Manager (TFM) merupakan sistem monitoring berbasis kamera industri yang digunakan untuk membantu pemantauan kondisi burner dan tube pada unit reformer di PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara. Sistem ini digunakan untuk mempermudah operator dalam melakukan monitoring proses pembakaran secara real-time tanpa harus melakukan pengecekan langsung pada area reformer yang memiliki temperatur tinggi. Pada laporan ini dilakukan analisis identifikasi burner menggunakan kamera industri JAI CM-030GE-RH pada sistem TFM dengan membandingkan hasil monitoring visual terhadap kondisi aktual burner di lapangan. Kamera pada sistem TFM bekerja dengan menangkap intensitas cahaya hasil pembakaran burner menggunakan sensor CCD monokrom, kemudian menampilkan citra visual secara real-time pada TFM View di ruang kontrol. Analisis dilakukan terhadap pola nyala api burner, distribusi cahaya, kualitas citra kamera, serta pengaruh pengaturan shutter, fokus, dan sudut pandang kamera terhadap hasil monitoring. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem TFM mampu membantu operator dalam mendeteksi indikasi abnormalitas burner seperti nyala api tidak merata, burner redup, serta indikasi penyumbatan tube melalui perubahan pola cahaya pada tampilan kamera. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kerusakan burner yang tidak terdeteksi akibat keterbatasan sudut pandang kamera, kondisi overexposure, serta area monitoring yang belum dapat terlihat secara menyeluruh. Secara keseluruhan sistem TFM cukup membantu proses monitoring burner reformer secara visual dan real-time. Akan tetapi, pengaturan kamera dan posisi pemasangan masih perlu dioptimalkan agar hasil monitoring menjadi lebih jelas dan akurat.

Topsoe Furnace Manager (TFM) is an industrial camera-based monitoring system used to assist in monitoring the condition of burners and tubes in the reformer unit at PT Petro Oxo Nusantara. This system is designed to facilitate operators in monitoring the combustion process in real time without the need to perform direct inspections in the high-temperature reformer area. This report presents an analysis of burner identification using the JAI CM-030GE-RH industrial camera in the TFM system by comparing the visual monitoring results with the actual burner conditions in the field. The camera in the TFM system operates by capturing the light intensity generated from burner combustion using a monochrome CCD sensor, then displaying real-time visual images through the TFM View application in the control room. The analysis was conducted on the burner flame pattern, light distribution, camera image quality, and the effects of shutter settings, focus, and camera viewing angle on the monitoring results. The observation results indicate that the TFM system is capable of assisting operators in detecting indications of burner abnormalities, such as uneven flame patterns, dim burners, and indications of tube blockage through changes in the light pattern displayed by the camera. However, several burner defects could not be detected due to the limited camera viewing angle, overexposure conditions, and monitoring areas that could not be fully observed. Overall, the TFM system effectively supports the visual and real-time monitoring of reformer burners. Nevertheless, the camera settings and installation position still need to be optimized to produce clearer and more accurate monitoring results.
