Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya fluktuasi permintaan produk perlengkapan ibadah haji dan umrah yang bersifat musiman sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan stockout dan proses distribusi yang kurang efisien pada perusahaan ritel. PT UUB sebagai objek penelitian mengalami kendala dalam monitoring stok secara real-time serta pengambilan keputusan pemesanan dan distribusi yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya service level. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengklasifikasikan produk menggunakan metode ABC, XYZ, dan ADI-CV serta mengembangkan dashboard monitoring stok dan perencanaan distribusi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan persediaan. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian dengan memanfaatkan data penjualan, stok, dan distribusi periode Mei 2025 hingga April 2026. Penelitian ini menghasilkan parameter pengendalian persediaan berupa safety stock, reorder point, economic order quantity (EOQ), dan min-max stock sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan pemesanan secara objektif. Selain itu, direkomendasikan kebijakan distribusi berupa penundaan pengiriman maksimal satu hari disertai konsolidasi pengiriman untuk meningkatkan utilisasi armada sekaligus meminimalkan total biaya distribusi tanpa meningkatkan risiko stockout. Dashboard yang dikembangkan berhasil diimplementasikan menggunakan Microsoft Power BI dan dinyatakan berfungsi dengan baik melalui Black-box Testing, sehingga mampu menyajikan informasi stok secara real-time serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan berbasis data dalam pengelolaan persediaan dan distribusi.

This research was motivated by the high seasonal demand fluctuations of Hajj and Umrah religious products, which have led to frequent stockouts and inefficient distribution processes in the retail sector. PT UUB, as the case study, experiences difficulties in real-time inventory monitoring and relies on manual purchase order and distribution decisions, resulting in reduced service levels during peak seasons. This study aims to classify products using the ABC, XYZ, and ADI-CV methods and to develop an inventory monitoring and distribution planning dashboard to improve inventory management effectiveness. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall approach, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing, utilizing sales, inventory, and distribution data from May 2025 to April 2026. Inventory control parameters, including safety stock, reorder point (ROP), economic order quantity (EOQ), and min-max stock, were established to support objective and data-driven purchase order decisions. The study also recommends a distribution policy involving delivery postponement of up to one day combined with shipment consolidation to minimize total distribution cost while improving vehicle utilization without increasing the risk of stockouts. The developed dashboard was successfully implemented using Microsoft Power BI and validated through Black-box Testing. It provides real-time inventory visibility and supports faster, more accurate, and data-driven decision-making in inventory control and distribution planning.
