Abstract
Ruang operasi adalah lingkungan kerja kritis yang menuntut kognitif dan psikologis yang tinggi bagi tim medis. Dari kondisi tersebut, Ruang operasi berpotensi meningkatkan perceived workload serta memengaruhi psychological comfort selama pelaksanaan prosedur bedah. Penerapan elemen visual berbasis foto pemandangan alam mulai digunakan pada ruang operasi sebagai bagian dari pendekatan desain interior yang berorientasi pada pengguna, namun kajian empiris mengenai dampaknya terhadap tim medis masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi tim medis terhadap elemen visual berbasis foto pemandangan alam pada ruang operasi dengan perceived workload dan psychological comfort tim medis di RS Kanker Dharmais Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan desain explanatory. Tahap kuantitatif dilakukan melalui pengukuran perceived workload menggunakan NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), pengukuran psychological comfort menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert, serta kuesioner persepsi tim medis terhadap elemen visual berbasis foto pemandangan alam. Tahap kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur untuk menjelaskan pengalaman subjektif dan mekanisme psikologis yang melatarbelakangi temuan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada pengembangan desain interior ruang operasi berbasis bukti yang mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis tim medis.

Operating rooms are critical work environments that impose high cognitive and psychological demands on medical teams. These conditions may increase perceived workload and influence the psychological comfort of medical personnel during surgical procedures. To address these challenges, visual elements based on nature landscape photographs have begun to be incorporated into operating rooms as part of a user-centered interior design approach. However, empirical evidence regarding their effects on medical teams remains limited. This study aims to examine the relationship between medical team perceptions of visual elements based on nature landscape photographs in operating rooms and their perceived workload and psychological comfort at Dharmais Cancer Hospital, Jakarta. A mixed-method explanatory design was employed. The quantitative phase measured perceived workload using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), psychological comfort using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and medical team perceptions of the nature landscape photographic visual elements using a structured questionnaire. The qualitative phase consisted of semi-structured interviews to explore participants' subjective experiences and the psychological mechanisms underlying the quantitative findings. This study is expected to contribute to the development of evidence-based operating room interior design that supports the psychological well-being of medical teams.
