Abstract
Biophilic design berawal dari konsep biophilia, yaitu kecenderungan alami manusia untuk terhubung dengan alam. Teori ini menekankan pentingnya keterhubungan manusia dengan elemen dan proses alam dalam membentuk kualitas ruang. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, perancangan ini bertujuan menerapkan prinsip biophilic design sebagai dasar dalam membentuk hubungan antara manusia, ruang, dan alam melalui ruang yang responsif terhadap karakter site.
Metodologi perancangan menggunakan pendekatan biophilic design yang digabung dengan metode leistungsform dalam mendesain bentuk dan force based framework sebagai kerangka kerja perancangan. Proses perancangan dilakukan melalui studi literatur, kajian preseden, dan analisis kondisi site yang kemudian disintesis menjadi strategi perancangan berupa respons terhadap iklim, lanskap, dan kebutuhan pengguna.
Hasil perancangan menghasilkan konfigurasi massa yang mengikuti kontur lahan dan berorientasi ke pantai. Hubungan manusia dan alam dirancang dengan jalur forest walk yang menyatu dengan vegetasi, lounge di bawah kolam, serta area pasir pada tepi kolam yang memperkuat karakter pesisir, sementara bentuk bangunan yang memanjang mengarahkan ruang utama ke arah pantai.

Biophilic design is basically from the concept of biophilia, which describes the innate human tendency to connect with nature. This theory highlights the importance of integrating natural elemnts the processes into the built envitonment to enhance spatial quality. Based on this premise, the design aims to apply biophilic design principles as the foundation for strengthening the relationship between people, space and nature through environments that respond to the characteristics of the site.
The design methodology adopts a biophilic design, combined with the Leistungsform method for form generation and the force-based framework as the overall design framework. The process involves a literature review, precedent studies, and site analysis, which are synthesized into design strategies that address climatic conditions, landscape characteristics, and user needs.
The final design results comprise a mass configuration that follows the site contours and is oriented toward the beach. The connection between humans and nature is established through a forest walk integrated with the surrounding vegetation, a lounge located beneath a reflecting pool, and a sandy edge surrounding the pool that reinforces the coastal character, while the elongated building form directs the primary spaces toward the beach.
