Abstract
Industri galangan kapal merupakan salah satu sektor industri dengan konsumsi energi yang tinggi sehingga diperlukan evaluasi kinerja energi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mendukung upaya konservasi energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja energi pada PT. Galangan Kapal Madura melalui penyusunan Energy Performance Indicator (EnPI) dan Energy Baseline (EnB) berdasarkan ISO 50006:2014, mengevaluasi Energy Intensity Index (EII), mengidentifikasi Significant Energy Use (SEU), mengestimasi emisi gas rumah kaca pada proses reparasi kapal, serta mengidentifikasi peluang konservasi energi. Penelitian menggunakan data konsumsi energi listrik dan bahan bakar, data operasional galangan, aktivitas reparasi kapal, serta hasil observasi lapangan selama periode Januari 2025 hingga Juni 2026. Seluruh konsumsi energi dikonversi ke satuan kWh, kemudian dilakukan analisis regresi untuk menyusun EnPI dan EnB sebagai dasar evaluasi kinerja energi. Analisis dilengkapi dengan metode Cumulative Sum (CUSUM), Energy Intensity Index (EII), identifikasi SEU, estimasi emisi gas rumah kaca, serta simulasi implementasi konservasi energi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai EII berfluktuasi pada rentang 0,73–1,41, sedangkan analisis CUSUM menunjukkan akumulasi penghematan energi hingga −59.527,73 kWh pada Juli 2025 dan meningkat menjadi 12.733,95 kWh pada Juni 2026, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kinerja energi galangan belum stabil dan dipengaruhi oleh variasi aktivitas reparasi kapal. EnPI dan EnB berhasil disusun sesuai ISO 50006:2014 menggunakan variabel produksi baja serta luas pekerjaan blasting dan painting sebagai variabel relevan. Identifikasi SEU menunjukkan bahwa sistem kompresor udara dan motor winch merupakan pengguna energi terbesar. Peluang konservasi energi yang diidentifikasi meliputi optimalisasi sistem kompresor udara dengan potensi penghematan 27.078 kWh/tahun (5,14%), penerapan Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) pada motor winch sebesar 6.273 kWh/tahun (21,23%), serta pemasangan PLTS atap berkapasitas 32 kWp yang mampu menghasilkan sekitar 48.000 kWh/tahun atau memenuhi 4,02% kebutuhan listrik tahunan galangan. Ketiga rekomendasi tersebut juga berpotensi menurunkan emisi gas rumah kaca secara signifikan.

The shipyard industry is one of the industrial sectors with high energy consumption, making energy performance evaluation essential for improving operational efficiency and supporting energy conservation initiatives. This study aims to evaluate the energy performance of PT Galangan Kapal Madura by developing Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs) and an Energy Baseline (EnB) based on ISO 50006:2014, assessing the Energy Intensity Index (EII), identifying Significant Energy Uses (SEUs), estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ship repair activities, and identifying potential energy conservation measures. The study utilized electricity and diesel fuel consumption data, shipyard operational data, ship repair activity records, and field observation data collected from January 2025 to June 2026. All energy consumption data were converted into kWh, followed by regression analysis to establish the EnPI and EnB as the basis for energy performance evaluation. The analysis was further supported by the Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) method, Energy Intensity Index (EII) assessment, SEU identification, greenhouse gas emission estimation, and simulations of energy conservation implementation. The results indicate that the EII fluctuated between 0.73 and 1.41, while the CUSUM analysis showed cumulative energy savings of −59,527.73 kWh in July 2025, increasing to 12,733.95 kWh by June 2026, indicating that the shipyard's energy performance had not yet stabilized and was influenced by variations in ship repair activities. The EnPI and EnB were successfully established in accordance with ISO 50006:2014 using steel production and the blasting and painting work area as relevant variables. SEU identification revealed that the air compressor system and winch motors were the largest energy-consuming equipment. The identified energy conservation opportunities include optimizing the air compressor system with a potential energy saving of 27,078 kWh/year (5.14%), implementing a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) on the winch motor with a potential saving of 6,273 kWh/year (21.23%), and installing a 32 kWp rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system capable of generating approximately 48,000 kWh/year, equivalent to 4.02% of the shipyard's annual electricity demand. These recommended measures also have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
