Abstract

Muara Bojongsalawe, Kabupaten Pangandaran, mengalami permasalahan sedimentasi dan perubahan morfologi yang dipengaruhi oleh suplai sedimen dari daerah aliran sungai (DAS) serta proses hidrodinamika laut. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan pendangkalan muara yang berpotensi mengganggu fungsi alur sungai dan meningkatkan risiko abrasi pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis suplai sedimen dari DAS, mengevaluasi perubahan morfologi pada kondisi eksisting, serta mengkaji pengaruh penambahan bangunan breakwater terhadap perubahan morfologi Pantai Bojongsalawe. Penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis hidrologi, analisis erosi dan suplai sedimen menggunakan metode Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), serta pemodelan hidrodinamika dan morfologi menggunakan Delft3D. Simulasi dilakukan pada kondisi eksisting dan satu alternatif penambahan bangunan breakwater, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan perubahan bed level. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prediksi laju erosi sebesar 11,634 ton/ha/tahun, Annual Soil Loss sebesar 164.878,6 ton/tahun, Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) sebesar 0,198, dan sediment yield sebesar 32.584,89 ton/tahun. Hasil kalibrasi model menunjukkan nilai RMSE sebesar 12 cm, sehingga model dinilai mampu merepresentasikan kondisi lapangan. Simulasi kondisi eksisting menunjukkan masih terjadinya perubahan morfologi di sekitar muara akibat proses sedimentasi, sedangkan penambahan bangunan breakwater mampu mengendalikan distribusi sedimen sehingga kondisi bed level menjadi lebih stabil dibandingkan kondisi eksisting. Dengan demikian, alternatif bangunan breakwater yang direncanakan dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai upaya pengendalian perubahan morfologi di Muara Bojongsalawe

The Bojongsalawe Estuary, Pangandaran Regency, experiences sedimentation and morphological changes caused by sediment supply from the watershed and coastal hydrodynamic processes. These conditions lead to estuary shoaling, which may disrupt the river channel function and increase the risk of coastal erosion. This study aims to analyze sediment supply from the watershed, evaluate the existing morphological conditions, and assess the effect of an alternative breakwater structure on the morphological changes at Bojongsalawe Beach. The study was conducted through hydrological analysis, soil erosion and sediment yield estimation using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), and hydrodynamic and morphological modeling using Delft3D. Simulations were performed for the existing condition and one alternative breakwater configuration. Morphological changes were evaluated based on bed level variations. The results indicate a predicted soil erosion rate of 11.634 tons/ha/year, an Annual Soil Loss of 164,878.6 tons/year, a Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) of 0.198, and a sediment yield of 32,584.89 tons/year. The tidal model calibration produced a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 12 cm, indicating that the model adequately represents field conditions. The existing-condition simulation shows that morphological changes around the estuary are still influenced by sedimentation processes. In contrast, the alternative breakwater simulation demonstrates a more controlled sediment distribution, resulting in a more stable bed level than the existing condition. Therefore, the proposed breakwater alternative can be considered an effective measure for controlling morphological changes in the Bojongsalawe Estuary.
