Abstract
Perkembangan otomasi industri mendorong kebutuhan sistem Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) yang mampu melakukan monitoring dan pengendalian proses secara terintegrasi dan real-time. Pada proyek pengembangan di PG Glenmore Banyuwangi dilakukan penambahan unit Milling 5 serta motor power assist pada Milling 1 yang memerlukan penyesuaian sistem SCADA. Kegiatan magang ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan dan mengintegrasikan SCADA berbasis FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) dengan PLC Siemens menggunakan KepServerEX sebagai OPC Server. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan sistem, pemetaan tag pada TIA Portal, pembuatan database komunikasi di KepServerEX, perancangan antarmuka SCADA, serta pengujian melalui simulasi menggunakan OPC Quick Client. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh tag berhasil dikomunikasikan dari PLC ke FactoryTalk View SE melalui KepServerEX sehingga data proses, status peralatan, alarm, dan animasi dapat ditampilkan secara real-time. Meskipun penggunaan KepServerEX menimbulkan tambahan waktu tunda (delay) akibat proses komunikasi data, kinerjanya masih memenuhi kebutuhan monitoring proses pada stasiun milling. Secara keseluruhan, sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas monitoring, mempermudah pengelolaan data operasional, serta mendukung pengawasan proses secara lebih terstruktur dan andal.

The development of industrial automation drives the need for a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system capable of integrated and real-time process monitoring and control. In the development project at PG Glenmore Banyuwangi, the addition of Milling 5 units and a power assist motor to Milling 1 required SCADA system adjustments. This internship aimed to implement and integrate FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE)-based SCADA with a Siemens PLC using KepServerEX as the OPC Server. The implementation stages included identifying system requirements, mapping tags on the TIA Portal, creating a communication database in KepServerEX, designing the SCADA interface, and testing through simulation using the OPC Quick Client. The implementation results showed that all tags were successfully communicated from the PLC to FactoryTalk View SE via KepServerEX so that process data, equipment status, alarms, and animations could be displayed in real-time. Although the use of KepServerEX caused additional delays due to the data communication process, its performance still met the process monitoring needs at the milling station. Overall, the developed system is able to increase monitoring effectiveness, simplify operational data management, and support process monitoring in a more structured and reliable manner.
