Abstract

Pantai Boom merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata unggulan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang mengalami lonjakan pengunjung signifikan, terutama pada masa libur nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya dukung kawasan guna menjaga kualitas lingkungan dan kenyamanan wisatawan menggunakan metode Cifuentes. Analisis dilakukan pada tiga tingkatan daya dukung: Fisik (PCC), Nyata (RCC), dan Efektif (ECC) dengan mempertimbangkan luas area efektif total sebesar 36.300 m2 (mencakup daratan dan perairan). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai PCC sebesar 19.257 orang/hari. Setelah mempertimbangkan faktor pembatas biofisik, nilai RCC tereduksi menjadi 10.071 orang/hari. Namun, keterbatasan infrastruktur dasar dan manjemen menyebabkan nilai ECC hanya mencapai 5.136 orang/hari. Ditemukan adanya overload kunjungan pada masa puncak yang mencapai 1.356% dari kapasitas efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan fasilitas pendukung seperti toilet dan area parkir, serta penerapan kebijakan kuota pengunjung harian untuk menjamin keberlanjutan kawasan.

Boom Beach is one of the leading tourist destinations in Banyuwangi Regency, experiencing significant surges in visitors, especially during national holidays. This study aims to analyze the carrying capacity of the area to maintain environmental quality and tourist comfort using the Cifuentes method. The analysis was conducted at three levels of carrying capacity: Physical (PCC), Real (RCC), and Effective (ECC), considering a total effective area of 36,300 m2 (including both land and water). The calculation results show a PCC value 19,257 people/day. After considering biophysical limiting factors, the RCC value was reduced to 10,071 people/day. However, limitations in basic infrastructure and management resulted in an ECC value of only 5,136 people/day. An extreme visitor overload was found during peak periods, reaching 1,356% of the effective capacity. Therefore, improvements to supporting facilities such as toilets and parking areas are required, along with the implementation of a daily visitor quota policy to ensure the sustainability of the area.
