Abstract

Berbagai perubahan yang terjadi di hilir maupun hulu pada supply chain memaksa perusahaan untuk sering kali melakukan revisi pada jadwal produksi yang telah dibuat. Perubahan yang terlalu sering terjadi menciptakan efek kontraproduktif bagi perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini akan dicoba untuk mengkuantifikasikan tingkat ketidakstabilan jadwal di PT. Interbat, sebuah perusahaan berskala global yang bergerak di bidang industri farmasi (obat). Analisis juga dilakukan terhadap faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya ketidakstabilan jadwal maupun dampak yang diakibatkan oleh ketidakstabilan tersebut. Hasil mengindikasikan bahwa mayoritas permasalahan ketidakstabilan jadwal diakibatkan oleh perubahan pesanan pelanggan. Faktor lain yang intensitasnya lebih kecil adalah keterlambatan bahan baku maupun faktor-faktor internal di dalam sistem produksi. Sejumlah rekomendasi untuk mengurangi intensitas ketidakstabilan jadwal juga dirumuskan.

Changes in the daily activities of many companies that force them to revise their production schedules are inevitable and may occur at any stage of a company's supply chain. Frequent changes in production schedules can have a counterproductive effect on the company. This study attempts to quantify the instability rate of the production schedule at PT. Interbat, a private company operating in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The analysis was conducted to identify the factors that cause schedule instability and the effects resulting from such instability. The results indicate that most schedule instability problems are caused by fluctuations in customer demand. Other factors with lower intensity include delays in raw materials and internal factors within the production system. Recommendations to reduce the intensity of schedule instability are also provided as complementary solutions to the problem.
