Abstract
TPPI merupakan salah satu perusahaan swasta petrokimia yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan minyak bumi menjadi produk kimia atau yang lebih dikenal dengan produk BTX (Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene). Selain itu, terdapat produk samping yang dihasilkan, yaitu produk petroleum yang terdiri atas Light Naphtha, Kerosene, Diesel Oil, dan Reformate. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah kondensat (condensate) yang diperoleh dari beberapa lokasi, antara lain Bintulu, Handil, Margham, Northwest Shelf (NWS), Qatar, Senipah, Sharjah, Arun, Bontang, Terengganu, Bayu Undan, dan Laminaria. Perkiraan pertumbuhan permintaan produk BTX di Asia dari tahun 2006 sampai 2009 rata-rata sebesar 5,76% untuk produk Benzene, 6,07% untuk produk Toluene, dan 7,72% untuk produk Xylene. Kondisi tersebut masih memberikan peluang bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan keuntungan. Dengan memperhatikan produk-produk yang dihasilkan dan mempertimbangkan kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan, perlu dilakukan penentuan bauran produk yang tepat antara produk Chemical dan Petroleum dengan tujuan memaksimalkan keuntungan. Untuk menentukan bauran produk yang tepat, digunakan metode Goal Programming. Diharapkan dengan metode Goal Programming dapat dicapai tujuan-tujuan yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan, antara lain produksi produk Petroleum dan Chemical sesuai dengan demand, produksi produk Petroleum dan Chemical memenuhi kapasitas produksi aktual masing-masing produk, konsumsi kondensat untuk produksi produk Petroleum dan Chemical memenuhi ketersediaan bahan baku setiap bulan, serta Loss/gas yang terbuang dan Energy Usage mencapai target yang telah ditentukan. Adapun batasan-batasan yang ditetapkan dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut meliputi target demand masing-masing produk yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan, kapasitas produksi aktual masing-masing produk, ketersediaan bahan baku kondensat selama satu bulan sebesar 2,1 juta barrel, serta target Loss dan Energy Usage yang harus dicapai berdasarkan rata-rata Loss dan Energy Usage masing-masing bahan baku kondensat, yaitu sebesar 16,35%.

TPPI is a private petrochemical company engaged in processing crude oil into chemical products, commonly known as BTX products (Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene). In addition, the company produces petroleum by-products consisting of Light Naphtha, Kerosene, Diesel Oil, and Reformate. The raw material used is condensate, which is obtained from several locations, including Bintulu, Handil, Margham, Northwest Shelf (NWS), Qatar, Senipah, Sharjah, Arun, Bontang, Terengganu, Bayu Undan, and Laminaria. The estimated average growth in demand for BTX products in Asia from 2006 to 2009 was 5.76% for Benzene, 6.07% for Toluene, and 7.72% for Xylene. This condition provides an opportunity for the company to increase its profits. Considering the products produced and their contribution to revenue, it is necessary to determine an appropriate product mix between Chemical and Petroleum products in order to maximize profit. Goal Programming is used to determine the appropriate product mix. The method is expected to achieve the objectives established by the company, including producing Petroleum and Chemical products according to demand, ensuring that the production of Petroleum and Chemical products meets the actual production capacity of each product, ensuring that condensate consumption for Petroleum and Chemical production does not exceed the monthly availability of raw materials, and achieving the predetermined targets for Loss/gas waste and Energy Usage. The constraints established for achieving these objectives include the demand target for each product determined by the company, the actual production capacity of each product, the monthly availability of condensate raw material amounting to 2.1 million barrels, and the targets for Loss and Energy Usage, which are based on the average Loss and Energy Usage of the condensate raw material, amounting to 16.35%.
