Abstract

Terdapat dua moda angkutan umum penumpang yang melayani rute Makassar - Majene yaitu bus dan station wagon. Kompetisi kedua moda tersebut dipengaruhi oleh keandalan dari masing-masing moda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi secara signifikan pelaku perjalanan dalam melakukan pemilihan moda, untuk mendapatkan model yang dapat menjelaskan probabilitas pemilihan moda serta untuk mengetahui sensitivitas dari model berdasarkan respon individu pelaku perjalanan dalam menentukan pilihan apabila dilakukan perubahan terhadap salah satu atribut perjalanan yang mendukung utilitas moda.

Pada studi ini digunakan metode stated preference dengan mengambil 200 responden. Analisis data model pemilihan moda yang digunakan adalah model logit biner dan estimasi parameter modelnya digunakan analisa regresi.

Berdasarkan uji statistik ditunjukkan bahwa empat variabel pemilihan moda yang digunakan seperti selisih biaya perjalanan (X1), selisih waktu tempuh (X2), selisih waktu keterlambatan (X3) dan selisih frekuensi keberangkatan (X4) antara station wagon dan bus berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap responden dalam memilih moda angkutan umum penumpang. Persamaan fungsi selisih utilitas antara station wagon dan bus adalah (Usw-Ubus) = 0.446 - 0.000292X1 - 0.00735X2 - 0.0363X3 + 0.121X4, dengan persamaan model probabilitas pemilihan station wagon Psw = exp(Usw-Ubus)/(1+exp(Usw-Ubus)). Adapun atribut yang berpengaruh paling sensitif terhadap model berdasarkan analisis elastisitas adalah atribut selisih waktu keterlambatan. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai elastisitas waktu keterlambatan yang paling besar dibanding dengan atribut lainnya. Secara umum seluruh atribut dalam model lebih sensitif mempengaruhi pemilihan bus dibanding dengan station wagon, hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai elastisitas silang dari seluruh atribut lebih besar daripada elastisitas langsungnya.

There are two modes of public transport serve passenger routes Makassar
- Majene namely buses and station wagons. The competition between both modes
are influenced by its reliability. This study aimed to determine the factors
influencing passengers on modal choice, to develop a model that can explain the
probability of modal split and to determine the model's sensitivity from travelers
response in determining the choice if there is changes to one of the attributes of
travel which supports the mode's utility.
Stated preference method is used in this study involving 200 respondents.
Mode choice model is analysed using binary logit model, while model parameter
is estimating using regression analysis.
Statistical test indicates that four variables are significantly influencing
the respondents selection of public transportation mode, which are mode choice
travel cost difference (X 1 ), the difference in travel time (X2), the difference in
time delay (X3) and the difference frequency of departures (X4) between station
wagons and buses. Utility function of the difference equation between station
wagons and buses are (Usw-Ubus) = .446- 0.000292x1-0.00735x2 - 0.0363x3 +

(1 +exp(llsw-Ubus~. The most sensitive attributes that affect to the model based on
elasticity analysis is the delay difference. It was indicated by the elasticity of the
largest delay time compared with any other attribute. ln general all the attributes
in the model affect the selection is more sensitive to the bus than station wagons
as indicated from the value of cross elasticity of all attributes greater than the
direct elasticity.
