Abstract

Most paper classification methods rely on keywords as their primary reference. However, keywords alone cannot fully represent the entire content of a paper. In this study, we extract information from the abstracts of several seminar papers to serve as the foundation for paper classification. In this thesis, Correlation and Naïve Bayes methods are used to extract information from data within seminar papers. Experiments were conducted using a case study of data from the IES national seminar. As an initial step, we trained the model using 150 papers to classify them into five distinct classes. Based on our testing, this classification method for IES papers achieved a high accuracy rate of over 90%.
