Abstract

Mojokerto sebagai salah satu kabupaten yang sedang berkembang memiliki dinamika penduduk yang signifikan dari tahun ke tahun. Oleh karena itu dalam sektor pendidikan perlu dilakukan monitoring secara nasional maupun regional yang maksimal dan baik sesuai dengan Permendiknas karena pendidikan merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat menentukan kemajuan dan kesejahteraan suatu bangsa pada umumnya. Menurut UU SISDIKNAS pasal pertama pengertian dari pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan Negara. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap sebaran sekolah menengah atas yang berada di Kabupaten Mojokerto, membangun sistem informasi geografis dan menganalisa kebutuhan sekolah menengah atas. Kegiatan ini menggunakan data spasial berupa 14 lembar peta RBI skala 1:25.000 sedangkan data non-spasial didapatkan dari Dinas Pendidikan dan Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil. Data tersebut diolah dan dianalisa untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan di atas. Dengan menggunakan sistem informasi geografis pelaksanaan analisa sekolah didapatkan masih banyaknya sekolah yang tidak selaras dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional (Permendiknas). Sedangkan dalam analisa sebaran lokasi sekolah ditemukan beberapa lokasi yang tidak terjangkau oleh sekolah menengah yang ada. Agar sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) di mana setiap sekolah melayani radius 3000 meter maka didapat 15 lokasi ideal untuk lokasi pendirian sekolah baru.

Mojokerto as one of area blossoming out has dynamic population significantly from year to year. Because of that in education sector need to be monitoring nationally or regionally with maximally and better than now agree with law of education minister (Permendiknas) because education is one of things very determine advancement and prosperity of the Nation generally. According to The Law of Indonesian (UU SISDIKNAS) first section the meaning of education is effort aware and planning for get studying atmosphere and processes in order to education's member actively generate their potential to achieve power of religion spiritual, control their self, personality, smart, noble character, and skill which needed themselves, society, nation and state. The writer's purpose of this research to mapping toward spread of senior high school there are in Mojokerto Regency, build geographic information system and analysis school requirement of senior high school serve. This activity use several data, there are 14 RBI map sheet scale 1:25.000 whereas non-spatial data achieve form Education Department also from Demography and Civil Script Department. Purpose from processing and analysis datas for get objective above. By used geographic information system implementation to school analysis get there are many school didn't agree with law of education minister (Permendiknas). Whereas spread school analysis find some locations there aren't reached by senior high schools have there. In order that agree with Indonesian's Standard (SNI) where every school serve about 3000 meters radius so achieve five ideal location for build new senior high school.
