Abstract

Remember work post-production to form working is used two monitors or more with kinds of equipment digital video (example: video capture, mixer, video screen). Combination or room in the work table is not enough and it can bring down the quality of work (because the spirit of working comes down), tiredness, time-consuming, and stress. Post-production workers always have to work extra time, remembering that their work is full of deadline problems. Workers tend to sleep in the office when finishing the task. So, it can cause defects beginning from the back until the neck. And then, the system configuration of the workstation has to be considered so that workstation users can easily operate the tools effectively. From various existing problems above, it is known that a workstation for animation workers cannot only use an ordinary desk, but the old workstation has to be analyzed in detail to make a new workstation design that is more interesting, effective, ergonomic, and practical. As for what will be analyzed in the new workstation design, for example: activity analysis, requirement analysis, carried goods analysis, social and cultural analysis, ergonomic analysis, mechanical analysis, material analysis, workmanship or production process analysis, form, and also color. From some analyses conducted, the process of alternative design will then start until the final design. The final design of the workstation for animation workers is a workstation design that fulfills the requirements of animators, both the requirement to place equipment and the space requirement for worker movement.
