Abstract

Sepeda air (bebek air) merupakan sarana wisata yang bertarif paling murah di Telaga Sarangan. Walaupun demikian, fasilitas ini sarat akan nilai fun, kekeluargaan, dan olahraga. Bebek air di Telaga Sarangan saat ini telah berumur tua. Bahkan, banyak user yang mengeluhkan minimnya jumlah tempat duduk dan kayuhan yang terasa berat. Minimnya jumlah tempat duduk inilah yang menyebabkan sebagian besar pengunjung telaga tidak menyukai fasilitas air ini. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas sepeda air dari segi tampilan maupun operasional sehingga memberikan nilai lebih bagi pengguna (pengunjung dan pengelola). Penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut dilakukan dengan pendekatan disiplin ilmu Desain Produk Industri. Bagaimana mendesain sepeda air yang nyaman, aman, dapat dioperasikan dengan mudah, serta mampu mengangkut 4–5 orang (nuclear family). Selain itu, sepeda air ini juga harus memiliki tampilan yang stylish untuk menarik perhatian pengunjung serta proses produksi yang ekonomis. Metode penyelesaian masalah ditekankan pada studi kebutuhan pengguna sepeda air, data eksisting sepeda air yang telah diproduksi. Hasil dari proses desain ini adalah sepeda air dengan kemampuan angkut 4–5 orang, memiliki fasilitas bagi user untuk bersantai seperti swivel seat dan snacking table, kayuhan ringan, serta memiliki tampilan baru sebagai penyegaran. Dari keseluruhan hasil yang dicapai diharapkan memberikan nilai lebih untuk mendukung karakter Wisata Telaga Sarangan sesuai dengan tujuan peningkatan mutu wisata daerah Magetan.

Sarangan Lake water cycle is a water tourism facility that has the lowest price in Sarangan Lake Tourism. Besides that, this facility has more fun, family, and sport value. In the Sarangan Lake region, this facility belongs to the old facilities. Some users complain about the limited number of seats and the paddle that is too heavy. That is the reason why the majority of users dislike this facility. The aim of this water cycle redesign is to develop the water cycle value in operational usage and style appearance. All water cycle problems are solved by industrial design knowledge. The request is how to design a safe, restful, easy-to-operate water cycle that can contain 4–5 people (nuclear family). Besides that, the water cycle must have a stylish appearance to attract users' interest. And, of course, this water cycle has economic value to produce. The problem-solving method is based on user needs and existing water cycle data. The result of this design process is a water cycle with a capacity of 4–5 people, with rest facilities such as a swivel seat and snacking table, light paddling power, and, of course, a stylish appearance as a refreshment of the old facility. This result is expected to give new value to support the characteristics of Sarangan Lake Tourism and to conform to the quality development of the Magetan Tourism Region.
